Threats From The Mouth of Sauron
The Minority Report ^ | Posted on October 9th, 2008 | .cnI redruM

It seems James Carville and David Gergen just had to warn us before it became too late. They have to save America the same way Madame Royale had to save France. There would be “disturbances” if the “right” candidate didn’t win.

David Gergen broached the topic with the customary subtlety of an advisor/hack from both Republican and Democratic administrations.

"I think it's too early to declare victory, because Barack Obama is black," Gergen said Tuesday night. "And until we play out the issue of race in this country, I don't think we'll know and maybe (not until) late in the campaign."

And it’s a good thing we’ve got a sharp, experienced guy like David Gergen over at CNN to sort it all out for us. It seems that those sly and evil Republicans are attacking Barack Obama through coded language.

Perhaps after I introduce myself as “Mr. Ayak,” “Mr. Akai” can hand me my Secret Decoder Ring and I can understand all the nuances I missed when Sarah Palin told supporters in Colorado that Barack Obama “pals around with terrorists.” I missed all the deep, racial code words within the context of that accusation.

Other than Osama Bin Ladin, no one outside the close social circle of Dr. William Ayers even knows somebody who successfully planned a bombing of The Pentagon. When Senator Obama talks about getting Bin Ladin, he walks right past the fact that he spent several years doing “Community Organizing” with a man who brags about being “guilty as sin, but free as a bird.” Senator Barack Obama wouldn’t have to invade Pakistan to discover evil, devious men who worked on nefarious schemes designed to kill US military personnel.

So what is the possible impact of all the racial code words deeply engrained in the seditious messages aired by the McCain/Palin Klavern of Deceit? Democrat Mouth of Sauron, James Carville, gives us a nice, juicy hypothetical.

CARVILLE: Let me be clear, I said you can call the dogs and light the fire and leave the house. I think it sounds over.

Now let me be clear here, if Obama goes in this race with a 5- point lead and losing this election, the consequences are — bull, man. I mean I don’t think that’s going to happen, but I think David it’s a point to bring up.

But you stop and contemplate this country if Obama goes in and he has a consistent five point lead and loses the election, it would be very, very, very dramatic out there.

So Carville has just accomplished two despicable and classless things with one yarn of his typically vile political spin. He has just threatened me with some sort of dire consequence if Barack Obama takes a electoral face-plant late in the game. Perhaps I’ll be socially ostracized by the intelligent and normally quite friendly and professional African-Americans who I work with at my job. Or perhaps, just perhaps it will get dramatic.

Since Carville predictably stopped sleazily short of providing us a libretto for his hypothetical drama, I’ll articulate this thinly-veneered Cuffy Meigs’ threat in simple, plain English. James Carville wants to Mau-Mau the Flak-Catchers. James Carville just told me that Barack had better win or LA once more burns.

I’ve lived in LA before and don’t have entirely fond memories.

Also, if I were African-American, rather Caucasian, I would be livid to the point of violence. Violence towards James Carville, not the political foes of Barack Obama. By insinuating that riots would break lose after an Obama loss, Carville is insinuating that a large population of Black Americans is not morally fit to participate in a modern democracy. You see, dramatic was a racial codeword.

I also don’t see America remaining a worthy nation too much longer if we let our “betters” on the Politburo at CNNSSR enlighten us on how we should properly cast our ballots. They don’t do this as well as Saddam Hussein used to do in Tikrit, but the voters are being threatened with horrible riots of wanton death and destruction if they don’t vote a certain way.

A reasonable mind can fairly question the commitment of many on the Left to fair and open Democracies. The fact that they’ve successfully enrolled 105% of Indianapolis on to the voting roles not withstanding, I almost feel entitled to question James Carville’s and much of the Democratic Party’s fundamental patriotism. Anyone who feels good about putting a gun to your head to force your vote in a certain direction, isn’t going to put it back on “Safe” after the electoral dust has settled.

Well... as repulsive as Carville is, he’s not wrong about this.

Heck, there might well be riots whichever way the election goes. Riots to celebrate or riots for revenge.

Gergen overestimates his relevance.

Conservatives will vote conservative.

It’s the dims who will vote against Barry because of race.

This “cities will burn” arguement will not get Barry elected.

“again, the left shows its fundamental racial bias...sad really.”

correction: “again, the left shows its fundamental, cosmic evil.”

Oh hell. Why even have an election. Let’s just let Gallup and Zogby tell us who the president is going to be.

"Heck, there might well be riots whichever way the election goes. Riots to celebrate or riots for revenge."

When Obama's 'cousin' Raila Odinga lost the elecction in Kenya he got some really nasty and deadly riots started. Obama campaigned with and for him, so he ought to know.

They’re both Washington insiders, and Washington is big game, not the real world. She is just a gamester, too.

Supposedly there are emails or other documents that show that Obama and Odinga conferred on the topic of staging riots and that Obama either approved or did nothing to discourage them.

If that’s true... it needs to go out there loud and clear.
