27 Days Left -- What did you do TODAY to help Republicans win?
Free Republic Exclusive | 10/9/08 | Antoninus

There are 27 days left for you to make a difference in the 2008 political season.

What you are doing in a POSITIVE way to help elect McCain/Palin and Republicans and defeat Obama/Biden and the Democrats?

Please note that the following actions do not count:

1.) Seagulling on a thread highlighting positive developments.

2.) Offering the McCain campaign advice on what they should be doing (unless you're a paid political consultant with years of experience, that is).

3.) Thinking you're funny by saying, "I did nothing." The prospect of Barack Obama as president of the U.S.A. is not funny.

There are many positive, meaningful things we can and should be doing to help achieve victory. Much of this involves volunteering for the campaign and getting out into your community with the truth about Obama and his abysmal record, inexperience, and shady associates.

The media won't do it, so it's up to us. Are you up to the challenge?

If so, sound off on this thread!

Here's what I did today:

1.) posted my Democrats For McCain (PDF) flyer on FaceBook.

2.) wrote a blog article about pay parity in publishing and linked in Obama's hypocrisy on that issue.

3.) bought some McCain/Palin buttons on CafePress to give away to some college-aged friends.

4.) contributed some $$ to the McCain/Palin Victory 2008 joint fundraising committee

I’d be interested in hearing what McCain actually did this week to help Republicans win.

I sat down and mulled my future!

When mcCain started naming names, I said “Cool”!

The prospect of Barack Obama as president of the U.S.A. is not funny.

Neither is the prospect of John McCain as president of the USA.

What did the REPUBLICANS do to help Republicans win?

Or did they continue curling up in a fetal crouch whimpering, “Why don’t they like us?”

I’m making phone calls. You can register to make phone calls at the McCain-Palin official site.

It is easy.

For the second day in a row, a defeatist is the first to post on this thread.

I'm detecting a pattern.

Since when did FR become populated with such losers? I've been here for nearly 10 years--it never used to be like this.

I prayed.

An important and underestimated aspect of this election.

I'm trying to say a rosary every morning for McCain/Palin.

I was buying tires at Walmart and got into it with a Bush hater, Obama supporter, behind the service counter. Before it was done there was a crowd of 9 cheering me on. I really let him have it. When it ended, he said “I don’t vote anyway” and walked off.

EMBARRASSED is a word that came to mind afterwards. Sheesh, was I mad.

But I did what I had to do, got in his face, right Barry Hussein Obama.

I’ve been spreading the word about Obama’s relationship with his former employer/mentor/friend Bill Ayers. Despite what the pundits on television and in print have been telling us, I think that this is a positive thing to do. Ayers and Obama’s project in the ‘90’s to indoctrinate kids with Marxist propaganda is negative.

1. Prayed for God's guidance and protection for McCain and Palin.

2. I talked to my college aged daughter about Obama's radical past and how Ayers, etc fit into the picture - knowing she'll go back to classes on Monday and tell her friends.
