The Alaska Supreme Court today rejected an attempt by a group of six Republican legislators to shut down the Legislature's investigation of Gov. Sarah Palin.

The ruling means that Steve Branchflower, the investigator hired by the Legislative Council, will release his report as scheduled on Friday. Branchflower is looking into Palin's dismissal of her public safety commissioner, Walt Monegan, and whether she improperly pressured him to fire a state trooper divorced from her sister.

The state Supreme Court rejected an appeal by Texas-based Liberty Legal Institute and Anchorage attorney Kevin Clarkson, who filed the lawsuit on behalf of the Alaska Republican state legislators opposed to their colleagues' investigation.

The Supreme Court must realize that the future of Alaska’s tourist industry rests on this case. If they, and their running dog lackeys, end up supporting the right of a state trooper to threaten to murder people for personal reasons NO ONE is going to go there anymore.

How did the Democrats get the majority of the Alaska Supreme Court?

There’s nothing to worry about. The McCain campaign thoroughly vetted her.

There’s no way to “thoroughly vet” someone when the media is on the side of the dems. No one would pass.

If only Obama had been as thoroughly vetted, maybe we’d know for sure whether he was born in Hawaii or Kenya. I couldn’t get a driver’s license without a certified copy of my birth certificate and yet Obama is running for president without one. Are there any journalists left anymore?

America has been force fed Obama

Let'em investigate. It's crapola like this that causes Democrats like my sister to get discusted with that party.

Today I vented alot of my frustration by holding a McCain/Palin sign on a well traveled highway for a couple of hours. I found the event on the JohnMcCain.com website. See what you can find and get out there and do something! Cut the grass and put up yard signs, locate a Republican Headquarters in your area and see what you can do to help!

Nothing like exercising your 1st Amendment Right to make you PROUD to be an American! :)

I am actually not worried about this troopergate stuff. I'm sure she was vetted about it. What did concern me a bit was the fact that her husband was a member for several years of the Alaskan Independence Party, and she gave them a glowing intro this year for them to play at their convention. On their main intro page is their founder's quote:

"I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions."

Their slogan is Alaska First, not Country First.

Troll? Is that what you call someone who always thought Palin was a bad choice? Getting a bit touchy, eh?
