Grand jury gets murder case in slaying of Jennifer Lee Hampton (by illegal alien)
Knox News Sentinel ^ | October 11, 2008 | Jamie Satterfield

The woman who lived with Valentino Vasquez Miranda said he left her bed as her lover and returned an alleged killer, according to her testimony Friday in the case of an Alabama homecoming queen who was sodomized and slain inside a West Knox County motel room.

Rosa Rodriquez Hernandez said she thought Miranda, her 19-year-old boyfriend and father of her 19-month-old daughter, had gone for a beer

"I woke up (as he was leaving)," she testified in Knox County General Sessions Court. "He asked me for the keys."

Those keys included a master key card that allowed the pair of illegal immigrants, both of whom worked at the Lovell Road motel, access to guest rooms.

Assistant District Attorney General Phil Morton alleges Miranda used that master key card to get inside 21-year-old Jennifer Lee Hampton's room, where he beat her with such force that he broke her tooth, and then raped her, strangled her to death and then dumped her body in Melton Hill Lake.

He sent Hernandez to the witness stand Friday to convince General Sessions Court Judge Andrew Jackson VI to send the felony murder case to a grand jury for review, which Jackson did.

Via an interpreter, Hernandez described how she discovered that the man she sneaked across the border with three years ago might be Hampton's killer.

However, Hernandez noticed blood smears on the sheets as Miranda was stripping them off the bed, and also saw blood on an ice bucket liner that Miranda tossed out with the garbage. She paid it little mind, she said, noting tampons she saw in the bathroom.

But when she returned to their room and picked up Miranda's clothes, she noticed semen stains on his pants and "something like blood" on his pants, shirt and boxers, she testified.

Just a couple more hard working ‘migrants’....perfect candidates for the coming amnesty.

Yes, I said AMNESTY!

These little bastards think they can come here and run wild and rape and murder our women for thrills. Our Congress and President give them this idea as they coddle these border crashers. Sickening

About 6 miles from where I type, last week an illegal driving a truck, crossed the center line and hit a man and a woman on a motorcycle - they were both killed - but the illegal apparently was fine. The two killed were life long friends and they were just killing time one afternoon as she got her oil changed.

The worst part. She and her surviving husband have 4 kids of their own and have adopted 4 more. The man (who was driving the bike) and his wife have two kids I believe. 10 kids now missing a parent.

The illegal ran off and hasn’t been found but they did arrest his brother who went and picked him up on a backroad. Unreal.

Lovell Road motel

The owners of this establishment are accessories to murder and should be standing next to the piece of filth in the courtroom.

Tennessee Nana remember when Bob Corker was running for public office how he kept glossing over he knew how to keep our crime rate low and we could count on him to make TN a better and safer state.I at this point have yet to see Corker do anything about issues like this related to people in our country illegally.I’d like to know where is Bob Corker’s voice in issues like and where is he at to assure he is working hard to see to it,TN is taken care of from the many promises he made. I think we in TN should start writing or calling Bob Corker and asking what is doing about matters like this ? Corker also voted Yes for that massive bailout. Tennessee Nana, should we start making Bob Corker live up to what he promise us ?

In October 2006, one month before he was elected, I asked Corker about the illegal aliens and he got nasty ...

Since then, I have been called a bigot, anti-immigration (which is odd becaise I am a REAL immigrant) and ordered to stop “bothering”/calling him and Alexander during the AMNESTY Bill fiasco last year...

This year he and his staff refused me a meeting in his Washington office during the FAIR Lobby Days (immigration) in September...

That is not how a politician gets nice things said about one by Nana...

I am very troubled now with Corkers attitude towards the people he is suppose to serve and as many thought back during that election, remember how Corker assured us he would not be a rubber stamp of Bush and how we could expect him to make some kind of impact. What I don’t like is this bit - Corker became a politician because he genuinely wanted to do the people of TN good. He became a politician because he wanted the power.

“An example of illegal alien manhood...”

It’s ‘machismo’.

A Family Value that Doesn’t Stop at the Rio Grande. I can’t recall the idiot who coined that phrase...
