In 2000, at this point in the race Gore was up by 10 points. Nothing matters until that last week, that's when people come to the realisation that "Hey, I've REALLY got to CHOOSE one of these guys, like, for REAL". And they always go with the smart safe choice, it's the presidency for goshsakes.

You know what has really been ticking me off about TV coverage of Obama, McCain, Palin etc....?

When FNC, CNN and MSNBC cut away from live rally speeches to return to regular news, I always try C-SPAN and C-SPAN2 (I don't get C-SPAN3) to hopefully keep watching the speech. I've noticed that neither C-SPAN has been carrying any live speech by McCain or Palin... but check out C-SPAN right now... they're covering B. Hussein Obama's speech in Philadelphia LIVE...

C-SPAN has done this before on several occasions during this campaign season... Obama is getting a lot of live speech coverage on C-SPAN, but not McCain/Palin.

Just makes me sick...
