Fla. congressman Tim Mahoney seeks probe after affair reports

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Florida Congressman Tim Mahoney has called for an ethics investigation of himself amid reports that he had an affair and then paid the woman to keep quiet.
Minutes later Monday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also called for an investigation.
ABC News reported on its Web site Monday that Mahoney agreed to pay $121,000 in March to a former mistress and staffer after being threatened with a sexual harassment lawsuit.
The network, citing unnamed sources, says the congressman began an affair with Patricia Allen in 2006 while he was campaigning for Congress.

I seek Congressman Mahoney’s removal from Congress.
This guy reminds me of the guy with the gun to his head while his wife laughs, and as he pulls the trigger on himself he says "Don't laugh, you're next!"
If he was a Republican, he would have been gone by now.
Maybe Charlie Rangel can give Mahoney some council on how to go about it ......

Don’t know about any of you but I cannot quit laughing that this guy ran against Foley’s write-in replacement because Foley was forced out. Now we have another scandal from the same RAT that presented himself as the Foley alternative.
Oust him from Congress and take back the seat for the GOP!

I hope Allen West, running for another Florida Congressional seat, has already called on his Dem opponent to publicly denounced Mahoney's actions.

Foley’s Dem. replacement is caught in a REAL affair, REAL hush money, a REAL sex scandal, not just nebulous e-mails - and Fancy Pants Nancy and crew have been hiding it, obfuscating about it, lying about it.
