So the state department covered for the mexicans, it seems.

Yes, and the Mexicans returned the favor the other day at the U.S Consulate in Mexico City.

I wonder if the Mexican soldiers are registered to vote here.

We need to take back the House, at least!

As if it were just a R number vs. a D number?

Think about the Dubai ports deal. The 1st Bailout. etc. It's been about mob, shouting, activist tactics....not conservative principles.

We've taught the last conservatives in congress to listen to the mob, just like the Dems.

And the slacker, gimme generation is growing.

This election is not a turning point. It's just a bill coming due on the turn we've been letting the younger generation make for decades.

We are being invaded by unorganized, mostly unarmed thugs. When someone tries to stand against that, they get the organized, fully armed thugs invading as well.

Calling Bush: Why do we piss away American treasure onto the sands of Iraq to defend its borders yet can't defend our own?

Beam me up, Scotty.

You need to remind your young people that 1) BO plans to appoint Hillary to the Supreme Court and 2) he gets to name 14,000 political appointees who will doubtless be of the Rev. Wright-Bill Ayers ilk, that is, racist communists and terrorists.

So this is left to the State Dept?

95% of this country has no idea what a mess we have on our border.

I have heard from lots of people in the know that the USSR and America had a low-grade shooting war for decades. We would shoot at them, and they at us, and both sides would cover it up.

Wonder how much is going on with Mexico we don't hear about.

I wonder too. During Viet Nam, my children’s father was on a patrol boat on the MeKong River. One day they had a battle, and had to clear mines from the river. The mines were Russian. They were supposed to get some medals because of the combat they engaged, etc. but were congratulated and told to NEVER mention the Russian mines.

Mostly Central and South America. El Sal, and Columbia mainly.

There was one shooting match that happened in rural southern Arizona, between the USSR and the USSR. Specifically, between the KGB and the GRU (military intelligence).

Before he was told to shut up, the local Sheriff admitted he was perplexed. By all appearances, it looked like some defense contractors had gotten into a gunfight with some US Army soldiers out in the desert.

So he and a few deputies did the crime scene, and put the bodies up in the garage of the Coroner. Then he called Ft. Huachuca, who had never heard of any of the soldiers, but the defense contractors worked on post.

Then the local motel told the Sheriff that the soldiers had stayed there, but had said they were Canadian tourists and weren’t in uniform. It didn’t go much further than that, because the feds descended on the town and wiped it clean.

Somewhere in the wash, it came out that they were KGB and GRU, but that being said, it was requested that nothing else be said. It wasn’t like the X-Files, and nobody was threatened, but the feds made it clear that it was just better for the country if nobody made an issue of it.

But the locals sure eyeballed any new stranger in town for a long time.

Arizona’s kind of an odd place that way. Every now and then we get a huge swarm of federals. Timothy McVeigh in Kingman, and the train derailment caused by sabotage near Palo Verde in ‘95.

Why is our own State Department lying to protect foreign soldiers invading our country?

I already wrote a letter to the BP about placing landmines
You mean on the other side of the border? If they don't respect the border, why should we? No reason to screw up our own landscape. :)

This was an invasion into sovereign US territory by an uninvited military; i.e., an act of war. “

Not to worry. Pretty soon the Mexican military and U.S. military will be one in the same. No one is going to do anything about the borders because all along they intended to secure the perimeter of the continent. Our Border Patrol will probably be reassigned to the southern Mexican border. Follow the dots (and there are MANY) toward a North American Union.

I'm in Illinois but I will still crawl on my hands and knees over broken glass to vote for Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin.

I will do the same, although I'll be holding my nose when I vote for McCain....

The state dept. has covered for every one of America’s enemies. It’s SOP.

Hey, come on, I bet those Mexican soldiers get a good talking-to!

Who are we kidding, they won't even get that. You have to remember who is sitting in the White House - a man that referred to Americans concerned about our border security as "vigilantes".
