I've said repeatedly that Obama lies as easily as he breathes. More proof of this has been self-evident in his "giving 95% of voters a tax-cut." (Only I guess its not as self-evident as I would like it to be - because liberals are stupid and do not look at facts when their Messiah speaks.)
But here's the thing. The bottom roughly 37% of citizens do not pay federal taxes. So that means that under his plan only 58% will get a "tax-cut". Those bottom 37%ers will be getting PURE WELFARE. Stolen directly from the small business owners of America (87% of which fall in the top 5%.)
See if you are self-employed, and you run a business it is likely you fall into the top 5%. But that doesn't make you wealthy - not by a long shot.
But the bottom 37% that do not pay taxes would receive a check with monies in it taken directly from the small businesses.
But a word about the top 5% as well...
Small businesses create the overwhelming majority of new jobs. Taxing them additionally (in most cases raising their tax rate to over 40% according to Obama's plan) will cause them to RAISE PRICES and LAY OFF WORKERS. Thusly goods and services become MORE expensive for that bottom 95%.
Not a big deal to the lowest 37% because they have that new free money that grew on trees. But it directly squeezes the middle class into sacrificial territory.
In other words - Barack Obama is seeking to directly PUNISH the middle class by his bait and switch tax welfare program.
Which is why a self-employed plumber like this guy needed to ask the candidate first hand, "Why you punishing me for working hard?" To which the communist candidate responds in as marxian a tone as possible, "I'm trying to spread the wealth around..."

Any of you know of unfair barriers to hard working people becoming plumbers? Obama is full of kooky ideas like this. The plumber’s crime is being successful, and Obama plans to take his money and give it to others who do not work as hard or as well.

I don't know about presently, but 35 years ago in Kansas City, generally only the sons or nephews of plumbers could get into the apprentice program of the union, which was about the only way one could be a plumber in the area at the time.
So we had a hereditary plumber caste.

Why would democrats care about a tax plan? The majority doesn't pay taxes, they feed off them. They complained about the Bush tax cut doing nothing but buying a muffler, yet they say nothing about Obomas bogus promise to give every one a lobster in every pot.
Why would democrats care about people keeping their houses? Unless those houses are free, nonworking democrats can't afford to pay for them anyway, let alone pay the various taxes and upkeep necessary to keep them

This election is an IQ test for America. If Obama wins the left will know america has been dumbed down and will swallow the socialist agenda. If McCain wins they will work for the next four years to dumb down the public further. SO they can nominate someone who’s further left to push their ideology. Their testing america to see how much of their ideology will be tolerated. Their nominees have gone further left every election.

“Spreading the wealth?” This is code. This election is about what every election is about and has been about since 1968 at the latest. Taking from “whitey” and giving to inner-city blacks.

The $250,000 is NET income - Before taxes, overhead, and payroll. He's going to destroy the small business and his middle class target. The poor have no money and therefore no power, but if he can bring the middle class down to the poverty level, the number of government dependents (democrat voters) will multiply dramatically, but not by peoples choice.
Breaking down the middle class is his goal. His preacher training has some people reved about .....well, they don't know....they're just reved for "some reason." It's the preaching trick. They think he's actually fighting FOR them, rather than against them.
Preachers are very good at what they do. They start off slow and rhythmic. They "set the beat." They start of softly, then go a little louder, then a little louder, and when the crowd looks ready, they hit it home. In Obomas case, the useful idiots cheer. Afterwords, through, they have no idea what he just said.

That's why socialism always fails. The key words here are "SHARING THE WORK". The left wing base wants to feed on the harvest without helping with the sowing, weeding, trimming, and gathering.
