In her original call on Friday, she stated that she didn’t “think” that the organization she worked for was ACORN after Chris asked her ‘point blank’ if it indeed was ACORN.

I loved the calls from Vivian of Bolivia and Bismarck of Nicaragua today! Those two were awesome!

Michelle Obama also hit on college tuition, healthcare, energy, education and got the largest applause when talking about the war in Iraq, saying that we must responsibly withdraw our troops.

3 weeks is a long time in a campaign so sure anything could change it, it is up to Mac to play it right. He could have won hands down had he opposed the bailout, let Sarah loose earlier and kept her away from Katie and Charlie. I have not given up on him, but am really starting to get nervous. Don't know if I can watch debate:)

That was the point of my question. Chris talked about Cheryl again, though not by name, near the end of his show and said she did work for ACORN. That was a stretch of the truth but I'll give him a pass because it IS likely she did work for ACORN and didn't know it.

“It is obvious that Mary Mitchell has again showed all who read her rantings that she is truly a racist of the highest order. I suggest she call into James Harris’s program so James can perhaps help her to overcome her blatant racism!”

My local midmorning conservitive talkradio show host was on FIRE this morning, both on ACORN and on the US House Rep. mistress scandel. Plus he did say that if Obama gets in, he will work to have the UNFairness Doctrine brought back.

The name of the show is “Sound Off Connecticut” with Jim Viceavitch, WTIC AM, 1080, Hartford, CT. It is from 10AM to 12PM.

I don’t know if I can watch the debate either...while I expect McCain to perform subpar (which apparently is “par” for him); I can’t stand Bob Scheiffer.

Sometimes Chris mixes up his callers, stories and information simply because he’s getting bombarded with so much of it at once. Geoff tries to keep a good handle on the situation, but sometimes it’s too much info at once during the show.

On Chris Plante’s show he had a caller named Cheryl who probably worked for ACORN and didn't know it. When she lived in Milwaukee they would give her previously mailed envelopes with different addresses and names to use to same day register to vote multiple times at the same precinct. She was scared she'd get caught but was told the precinct workers were in on it too. She voted multiple times for several years she lived there.

I can’t help but keep banging my head trying to figure out how the squishy middle voter CANNOT figure out that we are ALL tied to this American Economy. If Obama wins and is indeed successful at implementing some or all of his Socialist policies, our economy will become a joke.

It is precisely these squishy middle voters that are going to get royally screwed!
