I’ve been saying for years that we are headed for a division of our country. Anyone know the laws regarding secession? At some point, it is the only thing that will make sense.
It was decided between 1861 and 1865 that the Constitution is a "once in, never out" document.

Much too long of a read for what has been obvious for years. I recently read an article that discussed this current civil war. The conclusion was (like Gettysburg in the first Civil War) the battle climax is upon us. The war may wage on for a few years, but it will be down hill with all parties knowing the eventual outcome. To me the obvious outcome came when the country refused to defend its borders and allowed its culture to be changed by masses of invaders with no understanding of what made the country strong.
It would probably have to be with the consent of Congress—good luck with that.

I was musing the other day about how, at every Republican presidential candidate’s rallies, there are always leftists protesting outside and some who sneak inside to disrupt the rallies. I was at the McCain rally in Davenport, IA, and sure enough, a couple of the protestors had snuck inside, and as McCain was giving his speech they unfolded a large banner and proceeded to disrupt the rally.
Contrast that with the number of Republicans or Conservatives you find protesting outside democratic candidate’s rallies or sneaking inside to cause trouble.
We do seem to be at war with each other, but only one side is fighting it.
I am getting there right now. I will fight on, but I am beginning to think the growth of the permanent underclass, the ‘takers’, is getting very close to the majority. That is the tipping point.
Obama’s Thug-ocracy will be worse than anything anybody has ever seen. The MSM will fawn and coo and roll over and play dead. The Republicans will follow suit. The conservatives will be cowed into silence by intimidation and overt threats. Freedom of speech will whither and finally die an ignominious death, whimpering and sighing. The radio waves will be cleansed of “right wing hate mongers” like Rush and Hannity and Boortz. Every right we enjoy as a nation will be “up for grabs” and, if necessary, done away with thru constitutional amendment, in the name of “security”. Ignorance of true freedom will be heightened by the federal takeover of the educational system, if not outright, then de facto, by means of financial arm twisting. Takeover of the banks is just the first step.
Don’t think your guns are gonna be any help, because the government has more. Ammunition will be made practically illegal to own. Lead will disappear from the market on “environmental” laws. Anything Obama and his minions can do they WILL DO! Bet on it!.........
