According to FOX, Obama is complaining today that he would be ahead by at least 3 more points if it wasn’t for FOX News. What a cry baby.

McCain first and foremost has to articulate the economic plan he outlined this week.
Second, explain briefly who is responsible for the market (Fannie Freddie and Dems/speak to his work at reigning in)
Third hammer Obama on his weak spots while positioning where he stands.
He needs to combine his attacks with his own points!!

In 8 years, President Bush has not complained ONE TIME about unfair treatment of the media. If Obama wins, is he going to spend all of his time crying and complaining if someone hurts his feelings?

He has my vote, therefore I will not watch.

I’m reminded of the scene from “Cinderella Man” where James Braddock (Russel Crowe) is losing his semi-final championship fight. His trainer (Paul Giamatti) tells Braddock he has to beat his opponent “from the inside out” and to keep hitting him until he breaks his nose. Braddock does just that turning the momentum of the fight which he goes on to dominate the remainder of to pull out the victory.
McCain needs someone to give him that same kind of advice.
To: Islander7
Rush had a frantic caller on today fretting about McCains performance in the debates.
Rush advised her two things:
Expect the worst on debate night from McCain and you might get surprised. More importantly he said to her:
We have to be self motivated!!!

According to FOX, Obama is complaining today that he would be ahead by at least 3 more points if it wasnt for FOX News. What a cry baby. He just can't stand the fact that he only controls 90% of the media.
To: All
McCain has really gotta go on the attack tonight and leave nothing left unsaid
Tony Rezko, ACORN, his voting Present when he was a state senator, Bill Ayers, Rev Jeremiah Wright, etc.
He’s gotta make this stuff stick to Obamaniac and along the way say something to the effect that “Well, Senator Obama, I’m speaking only for myself but I and a lot of Americans out there don’t have friends like yours”.
Or this “Senator, given that you voted Present so many times in the Illinois state senate, why did you do that? Do you have problems with taking a stand on various issues? Given that you’ve vacillated a number of times during this campaign, I’m inclined to believe that you’re unwilling or unable to make a tough decision”.
There’s a wealth of things McCain COULD do - but the question is “Will he do ‘em?”
To: TonyInOhio
Might be a good idea for Palin to be in the audience tonight, and available to the press.
To: TonyInOhio
We need to say some serious prayers for John M. tonight.

I think McCain needs to hammer Obama on 1. Fannie/Freddie and 2. Acorn/voter fraud. These are issues that most voters can understand. Some of the other issues are complicated and might turn people off. Maybe I should give people more credit, but if a person is undecided at this point then they are not real sharp.

Great Advice!
This election isn’t about John McCain. It’s about keeping the socialists from radically altering this country. McCain may not be the best articulator, but it doesn’t matter. It’s up to us. Our excitement is with Sarah. There is nothing in tonight’s debate that should deter a FReeper from their support or enthusiasm of the ticket. A vote is a vote. If McCain has a “saddleback” moment, it can only be a plus. But if it is another boring debate, it just means we have to work harder. People are getting the truth, one way or the other.

Pawlenty on Fox now declaring that McCain is going to focus on what the vaunted “undecideds” are concerned about.
The hell with Ayers and all of us.
I’d go for this if it were true.
How I’d give to live in a world where a politico was honest and decent.
Yes, I dream.

If it weren't for the entire MSM, McCain would be ahead by over 20%.

CBS has new poll declaring Obama up by 13% I think, just announced on Fox.

Couldn't agree more. More of the same is going to have the MSM saying he lost. And will be boring for the rest of us to watch. Being PC isn't something I stomach any longer.

Just so he doesn’t augur in or hurt himself hugging Barry.

Just did that as part of FR’s prayer debate prayer chain. I asked for the peace that passes all understanding, and I am much calmer now.
Whatever happens, I know that God is in control and that is such a comfort to me.

I think McCain needs to relax and play his game. He absolutely needs to tell the country that Obama was suing banks to get them to lend crappy mortgages, then ask the question of how is a man who was intrumental in taking down our economy going to fix it?
