Finally, a poll that I agree with. However, I could swear I heard FOX state about 5 minutes ago that Hussein won.

I’m afraid that the clueless sheeple fell for Hussein’s slick speak again. McCain came on strong but needed a homerun.

As soon as it was over I quit watching the stations because it's no secret Obama was going to be declared the winner by their polls and “undecided” panels. McCain clearly won all 3 debates but the Drive-by’s have found their Messiah Obama.

Clearly, Obama was the winner. It’s going to be a landslide win for the Democrats in a few weeks.

The mudslinging of McPalin has turned the tide.

Woke up one bright morning,
Woke up in the rain,
Woke up to the sunshine and the pain,

Stood out in the rosebuds,
Stood out in the dew,
Stood out in the clear and got a clue—

Listen to the mockingbird
Sing his sweet song,
Listen to the mockingbird
And know that life goes on.

Been inside a coal mine,
Been inside a whale,
Been inside a grief just like a jail...

It was another draw.

McCain had a few good shots. He rattled Obama on vouchers...clearly rattled him. But that was the end of the debate.

Obama was trying to be unruffled throughout. He simply didn’t try to do anything special.

So many missed opportunities by McCain. When asked if Palin was ready to be VP, he should have simply said that she has more executive experience than does both Obama and Biden.

On abortion he simply lacks the eloquence to touch hearts, and that’s where he should have gone.

On Ayers and Acorn, again he didn’t have the ready facts at hand to be eloquent. But, I did see one thing about McCain tonight. He simply isn’t naturally eloquent. He also appears really reluctant to just let ‘er rip.

“I don’t know what was going on at Fox, but the “undecideds” on CBS seemed to think that McCain whipped Obama pretty good. Katie didn’t look very happy, either.”

Exactly. Watched it all. Something McCain did tonight was pretty cool. All Obama did was change the subject. McCain kept bringing him back. I liked that. And twice McCain listed his leadership in the Senate and didn’t mention immigration either time. That is discipline I hadn’t given him credit for. Maybe he is learning how not to tick off the base.

I think Ayers, Chavez, Wright, Odinga, Ahmedinejad, Farrakhan, and socialist thugs all around the world won.

McCain did not effectively raise the Ayers issue, and when talking about education had an opportunity to tie Obama to Ayers again via the Annenberg Challenge, and then point out Ayers' praise of Hugo Chavez' Venezuela as a model of education reform in 2006.

The reason Obama is so smooth is because he's a sociopath. You cannot have his background of long-term radical relationships, and then so convincingly play the role of middle class taxpayer champion in such a calm, cool, collected way. Like his tax plan, it just doesn't add up.

We're turning into a banana republic, a nation governed by men, not laws. Tonight was the Rubicon, and we've crossed it.

In a few years all our real friends, like Saakashvili, around the world will be hanging from lamp posts, as the worldwide Left makes a resurgence unlike anything we've seen since the Cold War. Only this time, it will be with the blessing of Uncle Sam.

Oh, and say goodbye to Rush, Free Republic, and all alternative media. Enjoy it while it lasts, these last few months.

McCain did okay, but not nearly as good as I was rooting for.

Obama was as slick as a used car salesman and tap-danced (a verb I choose to use, and with no racial connotations) around the most important issue of the evening, that being Obama's clever verbal evasions regarding his lengthy and covalently-bonded friendship with fellow-traveling domestic terrorist Bill Ayers.

McCain is still in the hunt.

I've sent him money twice

I'll volunteer to help the campaign for the next couple of weeks.

I'll do everything within my legal means to see that McCain and Palin keep the Marxists out of the White House.

However, I just wish McCain had shown a bit more skill in his elocution and a bit more polish with his articulation of Mister Obama's real personal history and true beliefs.

I'm not giving up ship, mind you.

I can't. My two "kids" currently wear the uniform of our Country, and Obama would most certainly undermine them.

.

I totally disagree with you. When he said to Obama “ how could you vote present on that” on Obama’s pro-infanticide vote, he hit a lot of hearts.

McCain awakened a lot of pro-lifers on his strong position on pro-life and the supreme court. The media opinions fade like farts in the wind. If McCain pushes hard on through the remainder on what we said tonight with this and Joe the Plumber, this will be a dead heat in the next 10 days and he will win. Just watch!

I’m a public speaker by trade, and I’ve watched lots of them, and McCain simply isn’t eloquent. He simply didn’t hit the bullseye when it came to an argument for life.

A couple of observations. I watched the debate on CNN (first time!) and the meter that showed the reaction of the men and woman was interesting, clearly the men favored McCain and the woman Obama. In many cases even when McCain clearly agreed with Obama and repeated an Obama position the woman's reaction was flat despite peaking when Obama repeated it. So much for independent voters.

Secondly and I hope I don't sound like an elitist but I am convinced the issue of our economic problems as well as health care issues with the common voters are too complicated for the typical voter to understand.

The Democrats love to bring up Exxon Mobil and their 12 billion dollar profit, what they don't understand is that the typical worker likely owns some of their stock in their retirement plan. Exxon pays an $8 dollar dividend, if Obama gets his way and in crease's their taxes by taking half of that profit are the stock holders prepared to take a 50% cut in their divided?

You are scoring it as a debate. Almost no undecideds watch a 90 min political debate - they wouldn’t be undecided if that had that much interest in politics.

Debates are effective in two areas. One: political pundits create momentum for one side or the other. Two: set up political ads that show one or the other in bad light.

McCain lost on number one - sounds like most of the pundits are stuck on Obama.

McCain did well on number two. Obama flat our lied in a number of areas. IF - big IF - McCain exploits that, then the outcome of the debate will be in his favor.
