**"JOE THE PLUMBER" Political Legend Already Starting In JAPAN (Freeper Translation)**
Goo News in Japan (from Japanese) ^ | 17 October 2008 | Goo News in Japan (from original Japanese)

Links Here in Japanese to Japanese commentary about last night's debate and elevates the issue of *JOE THE PLUMBER* as indicative of middle class concerned Americans.

Translates him as [働く配管工のジョー] "Hataraku Haikanko no Joe-san" (literally, "Joe, the Working Plumber"), and states he is an interesting developing campaign story in the USA delineating the differences between McCain and Obama on basic TAX ISSUES.

Going global, folks. From my own research just now, even some of the dummies over at DU's heads are exploding in anger over this sudden, new, real live NARRATIVE to the American political landscape, Joe The Plumber (who conveniently is opposed to Obama). They are now trying to dig up things on this real "Average Joe", Joe W., some calling him a racist (I know, I know, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1), or that he is not registered to vote, the whole usual panicking liberal nine yards. LOL.

From Goo News in Japan (summary translated by Freeper, Japanese to English).

Watch Joe the Plumber will go through the same scrutiny Sarah Palin went through. Lol

Meanwhile, Obama will continued to go unquestioned by the MSM.

LOL... wow, thanks for the translation!

McCain has got to use Joe the Plumber in one of his ads, or campaign with him... ;-)

Thank God for someone with the most common sense who tells the Emperor he has no clothes on.

...being the unimaginative, copycate fools that they are, they will try to create their OWN “Joe the Plumber” and send him or her out after McCain or Palin on the campaign trail, with a YouTuber in toe. Just watch. It will probably be on “failing to catch Osama Bin Laden” or “Woman’s Right To (sic) Choose”.

Wouldn’t it be something if - after Obama spending hundreds of millions of $$$ on his campaign - including interrupting the World Series, embedding his mug into video games and buying a freakin’ 24/7 channel on the DISH Network - the Obama campaign is taken down by... Joe the Plumber?! ;-D

Did you know that “Barney Frank” translated into Japanese is “Stomach like large tub of goo that steals money from efficient worker to give to layabout”? It’s true!

Joe the Plumber stuff is already starting on Japanese internet chat boards, news stories, etc. It is phenomenon. I think Japanese TV will center in on this one as well, as a sidebar, in the next few hours.

Japanese love real salt-of-the-earth, average guy speaks truth to power type-stuff, probably because in the political climate here it is so difficult for common folk to be able to do that to Japanese politicians. I think they really like ol' Haikanko no Joe-san.

Somebody be sure to pass it on to the guy back in the states. He is a star for standing up to Obama.

McCain should bring Joe along with him on Letterman’s show tomorrow night.

Of course Joe might want to wrap a monkeywrench around Letterman’s head though. ;)
