The new line of attack should be "Spread the Wealth". It's easy to understand and it is in the area that Obama thinks he is strongest on. All of his policies should be summed up with three words, "Spread the wealth". Explain his "tax" policy and end the ad with Karl Marx's "Spread the wealth". Health care policy, "Spread the wealth". If Americans want socialism fine but make sure they understand that his policy is "Spread the wealth". Don't think of "Change we can believe in". This of "Spread the Wealth". What does Karl Marx, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and Barack Obama have in common? They're tax policy, "Spread the Wealth". Say it often (play Obama's voice saying it over and over". Spread the Wealth....That's Patriotism. If this is his ideology attack him on it. If American's remember anything before they vote make sure they remember that Obama's policy is to "Spread the Wealth...It's Patriotic"
Most “liberals” LOVE the idea of “spread the wealth”, but they shy away from labels like “socialism”, “communism”, or “Marxism”.
The message needs to be
“How is ‘Spread the Wealth’ different from Marxism, Communism, & Socialism?”
“Senator Government- he’s running for the chance to SPREAD YOUR WEALTH!”

I don’t buy that for a second. The problem is we are framing it in a way that makes it seem that spread the wealth means a a few million from billionaire gates and spread it around. It must be framed as Obama wants to spread YOUR wealth around.
Completely agree. It is being framed as, “Spread billionaire Gates’ wealth around”. The reality is he wants to spread the wealth of All Americans around to people who make less. If you’re making 42 000 a year that’s OK, they say, because there are those who make 32 000

Most Americans are ignorant about the wealth of people that live like Bill Gates.
His charitable works are admirable, and charity always goes much further than the tax dollar.
But stupid, greedy Americans believe that if they were as rich as Gates it would be only about where they would live, the homes they would own, the cars they would drive, the clothes they would wear, etc.
They don’t understand that at the level in which Gates lives, there are only so many homes and pairs of shoes you can desire.
Life is about experiences, and Gates enriches his own life when he helps those less fortunate.
Charity is simple, because it is Biblical. But if America has lost its connection to Biblical truth, it is easy to see why they have turned to greed by taxation.
The left encourages covetousness, they get their power from it.
And we know, it is a worse sin to encourage others to sin than the sin itself.
BTW, isn’t $250,000 just a little bit more than what any government job pays?
I hope this somehow gets to the McCain campaign. I want to hear every surrogate from now until election day. Obama wants to spread YOUR wealth. Get this to Sarah, she’ll know what to do.

I think it’s worse than that. I think we’re seeing people saying, “Screw the wealthy ‘cause neither me nor my kids are going to get there.”

While Gates rails against lowering the inheritance tax he has protected his children very well. Lots of tax free investments not available to the rest of us.

Yes, a brownshirt with the "Obama" symbol plainly visible, holding a gun at a plumber while he is elbows-deep in a nasty plumbing job, yelling "Spread your Wealth". Then fade to an Obama-esque character standing in the back of a pickup truck throwing money up in the air towards a group of homeless-looking deadbeats. Wouldn't hurt to have the words "vote for me" written on the side of the truck, and perhaps "ACORN" for a license plate.

Unfortunately, at this late date in the history of our Republic, the majority of people do not believe they pay taxes because they get a refund check every year.
The obvious point to make here is “spreading the wealth begins at home”. When Obama’s household income was $300k+, he gave less than 1% to charitable contributions. Biden was making $250-300k and contributed $300/year. Why shouldn’t they spread their own wealth before going after Joe the plummer’s? It’s called “putting your money where your mouth is”. That’s a concept EVERYONE can understand.
