DUmmies Begin to Hunker Down (Full Panic Mode)
Self | Vanity

Posted on 10/16/2008 7:11:15 AM PDT by DrHannibalLecter

Even the DUmmie COmmies now think McCain will get a bounce from his brilliant performance last night.

see the quotes:

"McCain was tougher last night than in the previous debates, and showed a bit more crispness in his assertations than he usually does. -----------------------------------------------------"My point in saying this is to prepare people to ride out the storm. " ------------------------------------------------------- "Thats fine. Then people will see how important it is to get out the vote" -------------------------------------------------------- I agree...last night, Obama won the debate...this morning, it has slid to McCain...I just PRAY the election doesn't follow suit... -------------------------------------------------------- Yes... I agree. I expect that he'll pick up 1 or 2... maybe 3 points.

majority of the electorals, not the majority of the states. He already has 187 electorals with 8 states with passed bills awaiting signature. Our bill has it enacted for this election.

Who has?

Which 8 states? I'll bet that they are all steady blue states.

The important thing is that none of the red or purple states join in this crap.

When we had threads here at FR back in January on this, some freepers said that states can do what they want with their electorals. So I don’t know.

I’m sorry...but I haven’t hear anything on this...link? Officials can’t “pledge” electoral votes before the people vote....doesn’t sound right

From that website:

The bill would enact the proposed interstate compact entitled the "Agreement Among the States to Elect the President by National Popular Vote." The compact would take effect only when enacted, in identical form, by states possessing a majority of the membership of the Electoral College (that is 270 of 538 electoral votes).
Sounds like it only takes effect if they get enough states to pass it, it does not take effect one state at a time. Am I missing something here?

I went through here and added up the states that have signed on. I get 187 electorals with 8 states that had the bills pass awaiting signature.

Sounds like they met their goal.

Good find. I’ll fix the breaks:

“McCain was tougher last night than in the previous debates, and showed a bit more crispness in his assertations than he usually does.

“My point in saying this is to prepare people to ride out the storm. “
-——————————————————————————— “Thats fine. Then people will see how important it is to get out the vote”

I agree...last night, Obama won the debate...this morning, it has slid to McCain...I just PRAY the election doesn’t follow suit...
———————————————————————————— Yes... I agree. I expect that he’ll pick up 1 or 2... maybe 3 points.

There are suppose to be 21 states signed onto this by November. Everytime I go to a different section of this site, I find more states. I’m not up to 21 yet. I have a definite 187 with more states to add in.

When I’m able to come through the whole site, I’ll post them all.
