The quality is HORRIBLE..it’s out of sync and it skips parts of the conversation.

I watched it live on CSPAN. McC was great, BO was quite good.
It’s an old NYC tradition, a “must appear” annual event for all New York politicians and every four years, the Presidential candidates. Speeches are always humorous. BO spoiled his by injecting some bloviating at the end, blah blahing about the need to help those less fortunate etc etc. Up to then he was okay. (His funniest line: My real middle name is actually “Steve”.)

Barry was slick, cool ... McCain was really funny and he was ON!
Didn’t you love the crowd’s cheers when he was slamming MSNBC? And then when he thought there might be some in the NY Democrat town pulling for him. I was heartened at the applause he got.

In the first picture Obama has that anointed look about him and the Cardinal looks positively ill. Inviting an avowed supporter of baby killers to a Catholic event is like inviting Cindy Sheehan to a rally of patriotic veterans.

Not probably...in '96 Cardinal O'Connor did not invite Bubba due to his stand on abortion. And in '04, both W and Lurch were not asked to attend due to their "partisan differences." I'm shocked they are honoring Barry tonight.
