We would like to inform all our readers that update on Michelle Obama story will be released tomorrow.
We have understood the importance that the American people put into electing the right candidate for the Presidency.
It is important that the tapes be released and all can judge for themselves what Mrs Obama meant and why it has come at the near-end of electioneering. The fact that the mainstream American media has been reluctant to reveal what they know about Obama is very unfortunate.
The American mainstream media seems to be interested in excitement and we all know that the only excitement at present is for some to say they witnessed history of some kind - the election of a black man to govern the only powerful nation in the world.
All the readers should exercise patience. We in API promise that you will get to know the truth when the recordings are finally released.
Please send me your bank checking account number and the routing number and I shall deposit my uncle’s wealth in your account.

Here’s the link to the beginning of the post... even the conservative friendly media doesn’t report much about it because it’s not proven right now. If there is a tape, it hasn’t been proven. If what they say Michelle says is true, Obama was not born an American citizen.

There’s just something about the cadence and rhythm of a Nigerian scammer that most of us have come to know like the back of our hand...
That’s what I thought the first time I read that article,
but with those crazy people, you never know what the truth is anymore.
I actually like ‘em. Nigerian Scammers give me something to do in between working, hobbies, family, church politics eating an going to the can.
Looks like a scam to me too, but I saw a post earlier tonight where somebody put up the same tired thing. I just added the “News” portion of this goofy story.
To me it’s kind of comic relief at this point. Reminds me of when Richard Pryor and Michael Jackson set their hair on fire... but not quite as painful.
The update will probably be: “Due to legal issues with the Obama campaign the tapes will not be released until after November 4th, or possibly not at all. Thanks for visiting our website.”

This has been a slow release...first needed to review tapes, then get legal opinion and now ready tomorrow?

How did we first learn of these tapes? It has been so long I have forgotten!
There is no tape. This is just a big time hoax being played out by this “news” organization for publicity. If a tape existed, it would have already been released. In fact, I’m still waiting for Michelle’s earlier “whitey” tape that everyone swore existed but never turned up.
Making the over large assumption that API has these tapes, you might want to know that API has 19 known local reporters inside Kenya.
Can you imagine what the Odinga truth squads that deported Corsi would do to those reporters? I would imagine that API would be getting them all to safe places, before the tapes might be released. I do not think in such imagined circumstances that such a delay would be unusual.
Also there are a lot of disgruntled Orange Party members and Kibaki supporters who want to have a measure of revenge on Obama/Odinga, and prevent the future support of Odinga by Obama should he become president.
So I do not think it outside the realm of possibility that API is being genuine here.
But one can never tell.One thing is for sure. If these tapes exist, there are African lives in Kenya and in Scandinavia that are very much at risk.
I think one giveaway was when their last release defended the African Press International for being located in Norway.

API have written articles mirroring the same “Afro-centric” western government oppression beliefs as Wright and James Cone. I seriously doubt they would release anything that would harm Obama.

I think the most likely explanation is that API genuinely thinks its real, just like CBS genuinely thought the famous memo was real when they showcased it. But of course, we’re talking about the Obamas here, so there is a small possibility that it really IS real.
Let’s see if the tape finally gets released, and then if it’s any harder to de-bunk than the CBS memo (i.e. if it takes more than 3 minutes to definitively de-bunk). If so, even if it turns out to be fake, API doesn’t have to worry about being seen as a less reliable news outlet than CBS.

Not necessarily. Most likely, whoever at API first made the decision to report this had verified that a call had been received by someone identifying herself as Michelle Obama, containing the statements which were released in print form. Then when the whirlwind of attention and demands for the tape to be released hit, the lawyers were brought in, and weren't so sure the tape was real. They're probably trying to verify whether it's real, and if it's not, then to track down who really made the call (which could be just as big news as if Michelle really made it, depending on who the caller was, and who put her up to it).

I see much merit in your comment. The possible circumstances you describe remind me of something I ran across in recent days. Without naming names, this is what I discovered.
Whilst searching a geneaology website for information on the obama background, I came across entries that were not shown when I searched the same site several weeks ago. It looked odd. Fortunately, the name of the person who submitted the information to the geneaology site was required to provide name and address.
I checked that out. And came across the person, who has made several comments about herself on various websites identifying herself as a cousin of obama. She also has a website of her own, and a page on my.obama.com.
What’s the significance? She’s obviously quite deranged. She’s falsified information submitted to a geneaology site - and this is exactly the same type of person, if not the very same one, who may make such a call to API.
API is wise to take their time and identify who made the call.
I believe the reason for the NY Slimes hit piece on Cindy McCain was timed to coincide with the likely release date of the Michelle “American White Racist” tape held by API.
The hit piece was timed to mitigate the damage that Michelle will incur once the tape is released, should it be.
An Obama supporter might think they are fraud but they have a lot of articles that are anything but a fraud. What are you worried about that this might be true?

Cretainly they have been threatened, and I am betting not just by the Obama campaign.I imagine that some of the reporters there have family in Kenya.... and Odinga can pretty much do what ever he likes there. Bloody scary if you ask me.
