Powell endorsement is no surprise (vanity)

First of all, Bill Kristol reported this over 2 months ago and Powell issued strong denials at the time. The media was laying an October surprise in cooperation with Powell and Obama.
One thing about Powell that most folks don't know is that he has received big $$$ from the Sauds since he retired from the Army, except when he was Sec. of State. He is bought and paid for by the same folks who are surreptitiously funding the Obama campaign.

I never really trusted Powell myself, but Powell trashed both McCain and Palin...McCain over a false-flag judgement issue and Palin for simply being who she is.
Powell has the audacity (hand in glove with Obama no doubt) to question McCain's judgement in picking the most popular governor in the 50 states and who has more executive experience than her two opponents combined...while giving a pass to the judgement of Obama in hob-knobbing around with abject terrorists, corrupt financiers, and militant racists?
It's time we all called things straight. I do not specifically why Powell made this choice, but I know a skunk when I see one and when I smell one.
One thing for sure, the judgement issue Powell raised is false and ludicrous on its face so it has to be something else. We're probably looking at another Sec State at least, if not VP in the second term should that, God forbid, come about.
I still believe we can stop the first term and am dedicating all my time and efforts and whatever influence I can muster within my own sphere to that goal.

Powell’s endorsement message was straight from the Obama campaign talking points.
It boiled down to: I am voting for the black guy.

Old black dude endorses young black dude running for president.
Since the left wants America to see everything in racial terms, the impact of this endorsement will be nil. It’s not like Powell has visibly been involved in McCain’s campaign at all. He didn’t make a convention appearance, IIRC, so that should have been a sign.
What will be amusing will be how quick the media rehabilitates Powell in order to try to get Obama a pop from this endorsement.

Powell is voting for the black candidate same as all other blacks do. Therefore white should only vote for McCain and Palin
Powell merely shows how tribal the blacks are. If Obama is good for blacks then he is bad for whites. Obama made this into a low level race war so let’s play his game out to the logical conclusions

I really believe McCain and Palin have now lost this thing. If the GOP can keep enough in the Senate they could make Obama a Lame-Duck from day one and then in 4 years we can get Gov. Palin. This McLame thing just didn't work out this time. Obama was a better con-artist.

I’ve never trusted Powell. His stature has always been based on nothing but the media pumping him as some kind of hero. When the media start repeating something over and over you know not to trust it, as has been the case with Powell for the past eight years.

Wow that sure took a lot of brains courage and class. Powell is just a black sheep that follows the other black sheep. I never had a high opinion of Colin Powell. I always thought he got a lot of his promotions for being black...affirmative action. Then is the Valerie Plame affair he proved he was a back stabber.

The whole Powell interview was just more socialism. He talked about spending more and more on social programs despite the fact all the money in the world won't work. The ghetto is the ghetto and will always be the ghetto and people who want out can get out anytime they choose so long as they have an honest job. He blew William Ayers off as the rest of the Libs do, just a passing face in Obama’s life.

I'd bet that there was some negotiating done prior to this endorsement.
If Obama wins (which I still doubt), there will be a WAR CRIMES trial against the Bush administration. Seeing that Powell is up in years as a retired individual, I imagine that Powell's endorsement was a trade off for not being charged in the show trial.
Either way, it still reflects a man of weak character and poor judgment. And he was considered a great General? I don't think so.

He is bought and paid for by the same folks who are surreptitiously funding the Obama campaign. Dirty Saudi money is par for the course in Washington. Powell is not at all different in that capacity - just another notch in the "extended family" of the Sheikhs. Same goes for dirty money from Soros, Goldman Sachs, etc. Our glorious leaders are scum - bought and paid for by enemies foreign and domestic.
What we are witnessing is the abyss gazing back. Influence is a two-way street. The only shocking thing is that the idealists who thought otherwise were competent enough to retain the reins of power for more than a century.

Powell is probably still pissed at Bush, et al for making him look foolish at the UN in connection with the WMD situation in Iraq. Although the bought and paid for national media STILL refuse to admit that Saddam had them, he DID have WMD. Those he didn’t use on the Kurds were trucked to Syria or buried in the desert before our folks got there.
Powell black. Obamessiah is black.

I am really amazed how many freepers are willingly and intentionally not mentioning that Powell endorsed Obama only because Obama is black despite that these freepers know that this is the only reason for the endorsement. This gives me more conviction that the polls are so skewed because many people are like freepers and simply are afraid to talk about the race issue and hence these people tell the pollsters that they are voting for Obama or they are undecided.
