Collin Powell stands for everything Obama and his people hate!!!! So how does he fit in with the Code pink anti-war, anti-military left? answer is it doesnt......
Not a good thing for Obama.
Because now Obama is praising the soldiers and Generals...Lefties are not going to like this
Rita X and Farrakhan will no doubt be having a problem with the Powell endorsement, too. Hee hee hee.

RITA X: Well, let me rephrase this. Uncle Tom Colin Colonel Powell.
RUSH: General! It’s General Colin Powell.
RITA X: Because he — he is planning genocide on the black community as Minister Farrakhan has revealed to the masses of the people that President [George H. W.] Bush has sat down with Colonel Colin Powell to plan genocide against the black community. But this is why the event. The mother plane is there, and the mother plane will destroy England, and that’s why you noticed that when the first sightings of the writing in the hedges, uh, from Stonehengees [sic] and the writings in the grass was 50 miles from what is call Stonehedges in England.
RUSH: Stonehedges, yes.
RITA X: The mother plane with the 1500 bomber plane were dropped know dropped three baby planes, three bombs on England and destroy England, and also she will destroy your nav— your — uh, the air, uh — the, uh, America air bases.
RUSH: Yeah.
RITA X: And her jets and everything.

RUSH: Now, you might be asking, “Where is Rita X today?” Rita X was from Detroit. Rita X was an acolyte of Minister Louis Farrakhan. I would suspect that Rita X is actively involved in the Obama campaign today, perhaps a community organizer, a voter registration drive precinct captain, or something like that. But no question that Rita X today — Rita X, if you’re still there, we’d love to hear from you. I’d love to hear how it’s going in the Obama campaign, because we’re sure that’s where she is. Maybe she’s Ludacris’ road manager. Could be. You never know. The possibilities with the kind of brilliance that Rita X displayed and the knowledge and the understanding, the depth of understanding she has of world affairs and “Stonehenges” and so forth; the sky was the limit for her, including the mother plane.

He's always been a fool as far as I'm concerned. Think he'd have risen to his present rank if he was white?
Powell is an ignorant token who should thank God for affirmative action.
Why should they not be? Colon has betrayed the party that launched his star. He has betrayed our efforts in Iraq. I have been suspicious of this man since 1996.
And rightly so !
Couldn't happen to a more deserving backstabber.
And it is well-deserved.
Colin Powell deserves a good kick in the azz. Not because he endorsed a political candidate. He deserves to be kicked in the azz because he went before the UN and the world and made the case for us going to war with Iraq.
HE PUT OUR TROOP’S LIVES IN HARM’S WAY. When you put our soldiers lives on the line, you’d better be right. He was for it and then he was against it. We now have over 4,000 lives that have been lost because he supported us going to war.
He had plenty of information to make an informed decision. If he didn’t agree with the Bush adminstration, he should have said “no” or resigned. There is no way in hell I’d put our soldiers lives on the line unless I was absolutely sure of what I was doing.
We now have soldiers in Iraq and he’s saying that it is wrong to be there. Nice support for our troops you dirtbag.
He was a colossal failure as Secretary of State. I don’t give a damn what he has to say anymore.
NOTE: My post isn’t about if it was right or wrong to go into Iraq. That another debate. It’s about — IF YOU MAKE A DECISION TO GO TO WAR, YOU’D DAMN WELL BETTER BE RIGHT. 4000+ lives later and now this clown says he was wrong? #$%^ HIM!!!
I hope someone gets a copy of the DUmp comments to him so he will know he’s not just despised by the Right.

Yeah, I’m sure they are going to vote for McCain now. It’s all talk. They have nowhere else to go.
I think most of them are sitting in their parent’s basement pretending to be human.
And he deserves to stay there. I don't think he realizes what he just did.
People who used to respect him are going to think twice about that now. It if quacks like a duck it's usually a duck not matter what he says. He endorsed Obama because he is black. It's that simple.
I don't think anyone likes a back stabber and that is exactly what he did to the very people who helped put him where he is today.

These people will still wake up and hate who they see in the mirror. Sad, sad, souls.
I’d like to think that, but Republicans never learn. I guarantee that in the next six months, no matter what happens in this election, you will see video of McCain and Powell yukking it up and breaking bread together. Republicans never seem to understand that this is a war. The Dems play to the death...Republicans act like it’s a badmitton game.
