While the answer to “Joe the Plumber’s” question by Barack Obama clearly proved the socialist agenda of the candidate, it is the aftermath that followed that should send chills down the spine of every American who believes not only in the First Amendment right of free speech, but our right as American citizens to question those we elect and may possibly elect into office.
When Gov. Sarah Palin was named as John McCain’s running mate on the Republican ticket, Leftist media propagandists were immediately dispatched to Alaska to comb through her garbage and badger with questions anyone and everyone who had contact with her before and after her political career began. The governor’s private e-mail account was hacked. Her family was put under a microscope under the guise of “journalism.” The excuse for this intrusion was that “no one knew her,” but within days we knew not only Gov. Palin, but her family as well – better than we knew the Democrat candidate for president. A candidate, I may add, who was a junior senator from Illinois and former “community organizer” (whatever the heck that is) that few had heard of until he decided to run for not vice-president, but for the top job – president. (Note: Barry’s past and current associations with unrepentant domestic terrorists, William Ayres and Bernadine Dorhn, and activities as “community organizer,” his association with ACORN, his 20-year membership in the notorious Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ, as well as any questions regarding wife, Michelle, are “off limits” – we apparently are only to believe what the candidate says without question or investigation.)

Pick the target (Joe), freeze him, personalize him, and polarize him. Cut off his support network and isolate him from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions, people hurt faster than institutions. This is cruel but affective, and the end justifies the means.

They're going to do everything they can to demonize him. Remember Linda Tripp? She cooperated with authorities. She , not the real issue of Clintons perjury or obstruction of justice, became the story in the liberal press.
The only way to do it is to cut off the media. They can’t survive with liberals alone. It has to be a coordinated effort to turn them OFF. And not just political shows. Hurt the ratings where they live. Listen to sports on the radio. Don’t watch their trashy shows. Tune in to talk radio and the internet only for your information. It’s tough but we must make an effort to taken them down.
It’s 1st Amendment for them, Fairness Doctrine for us.
There is no check on what the media does as far as I can tell. Putin has a way to keep them in line, but thats another story.

Actually we lost, and the MSM won the “Battle of Joe the Plumber” when they made it about Joe, instead of about “...spread the wealth around...”
There should be continuous chanting of “Whose wealth is it?” as answer to attacks on Joe the Plumber, rather than defenses of Joe.
It is time to declare war on the media’s enablers. Advertisers. Massive letter writing campaign to any and all advertisers in the NY Slimes, Washington Compost, any McClatchy owned paper.
We refuse to help you destroy our country. We will boycott any company spending any advertising dollars with news media intent on crushing capitalism and replacing it with socialism.
Your companies advertising buyers have may have unintentionally declared war on middle class Americans, we just want to make sure the management is aware of the risk.

Can Ayers and Dorhn still be prosecuted as cohorts in the murder of people? There’s no stat. of limatation for murder I always hears. If so, should be 1st priority in a GOP adminstration.
A certain NYTimes ‘journalist’ (and I use that word lightly) just took out a 500,00 mortgage with her “journalist” husband. Of course, the mortgage is in her married name.
Not earth shattering news, but a testament to the fact that everyone’s life is “out there” not just us middle class morons.
If you expect me to give up NCIS and NASCAR you are asking too much. I agree that the media has to be neutralized. I think that when people talk to them at all they should be knowledgeable of the topic and give Joe Friday answers (just the facts). The other part of it is to not all them to, erroneously, define the subject, then develop alternate mean of communications.

I think, hopefully, Obomas answer was SO bad and SO frightening, mouth to mouth networking will help get this one around. 50% of the country pays taxes. (The others, the welfare left, will vote for anyone offering a free candy bar! There’s no hope for the useful idiots in Obomas camp anyway.)

Yes. Personal attacks. Without them, the left would have no power. The "poor " (those who have chosen unemployment as their life style choice) have no power, and the "poor" are the democrats base.

I forgot to add the sarcasm tag....I wasn’t really asking the question. I’m not so naive as to believe that it won’t happen if O gets into office - I KNOW it will happen. My Dad, an 85 yo WWII vet, is absolutely disgusted that a person like obama has gotten the opportunity to run for President. This is certainly NOT what he fought for.
The media is digging itself deep and deep in the hole IMHO. When things get nasty which they are going to, the media will be the first people that are going to see assaults and a backlash physically. These maroons think that you can push around the average american and not have repercusions. You can only kick someone when they are down so much before they get up and fight with everything at their disposal.
The media thinks they’re the smartest folks in the room, and untouchable.
They would do well to remember Lenin’s statement “Intellectuals aren’t the revolutions brain, they’re it’s s#*t.”
