WASILLA, Alaska - Long before John McCain made Gov. Sarah Palin his running mate and before her views on global warming became a campaign issue, Palin's environmental priorities were crystallized in a city where she was mayor and where development has long trumped conservation. ............. more at site.

Another anti-Sarah hit piece. What a contrast to the glowing and worshipful MSM coverage of The One!

What has The Anointed One ever done for the environment in his years as “community organizer”, state Senator, and US Senator? I'd say very little, other than pollute it.

All the leftist anti development NIMBYs and BANANAs just hate real estate improvements and business growth with the jobs it provides and free markets!!! All of which provides the tax base growth for more of their damned beloved GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS!!!

The Democrats prove over and over again that they don’t understand where wealth comes from. Who will they tax when they have destroyed business and put everyone on unemployment?

I just love statements like, “We will tax those evil corporations.” Who gets hurt by this? Board members? The executives? No, it’s the employees and share holders. It’s the people who purchase the products or services sold by the corporation.

Corporations are not the enemy the leftists think they are. I do think they can have a very detrimental effect on the nation if they take certain actions, but then the left couldn’t be less concerned with that.

From Ladyhawke:

Bishop of Aquila: This famine has prevented people from paying their proper tribute to the church. I raise their taxes, only to be told there’s nothing left for me to tax. Imagine!

They'll stop paying the unemployment and start using bullets to reduce the customer base.

We have one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world and ‘companies are shipping jobs overseas.’ And yet they do not get the connection.

I’d sure prefer spending a few weeks in the environment of Wasilla than a day in the southside of Chicago.

You know what, you and I have thought like this for years.

What you and I need to realize, is that the left is trying to destroy in order to rebuild. That's truly the only way any of this makes sense.

The just got caught trying to destroy our economic system. What other explanation is there?

Tax sucking illegals are loved all over Northern California and developers who build homes, office buildings, malls and business districts are hated developers.

In Wasilla, being pro-business was necessary. When Palin took office as mayor in 1996, the region's 10.3 percent unemployment rate was one-third higher than the state's and twice that of Anchorage.

Palin gave people what they wanted: jobs that did not require an hourlong commute to Anchorage, 44 miles to the south, or monthlong stints on the frigid North Slope oil fields.
