In the modern era, socialism was the vehicle instituted by Johnson in the great society which brought many many black people into dependence upon the federal government dole. BUT the scheme Johnson assured his aides would cause the 'ni**ers to vote democrat for fifty years' also allowed many to escape the impoverishing welafre scam, and these now educated and working for their earnings, succeeding because of their merit to the business they work in, are now putting money away for education of their children, for the homes they want to buy, or for the retirement they work toward. And these Americans are no longer scammed by the democrat party hustle which exploits race and empowewrs itself via abortion slaughter which kills more black childen than any other race per capita.

These fellow citizens don't need ACORN fraud to register them to vote. They know what the hell is happening, and a significant number of these fellow citizens will not be voting for Obama thought hey may be polled as pro-Obama for racial reasons. And there are even a few of these fellow citizens like my neighbor down the street who don't allow the bums rush racist crap to get an amen for the little MArxist squirrel out of them for racial political correctness.

MLK may have been an R but he was still a Socialist along with DuBois, Robeson and most of the others involved in the Civil Rights movement.

IIRC, early in his career, MLK opposed a city's minimum-cab-fare ordinance because he recognized that its purpose was to prevent black drivers from offering rides cheaper than white drivers wanted to, which would be their only way of breaking into the marketplace. Later on he pushed for minimum-wage laws, despite their having the same problems as the minimum-cab-fare rules.
