There is nothing I could find out between now and Nov 4 that would make me change my mind and vote for the Messiah. I do not trust that one any further than I can throw him.

I’m a pre-election day voter. My vote was decided July of last year. Once the field was determined I knew who the 2 or 3 most likely winners were for each party and what my vote would be for those outcomes.
It’s really not tough to be an early decider when the Dems put forth two socialists and an ambulance chaser.
The Constitution doesn’t even declare that POTUS will be voted for. The Constitution says each state legislature will determine how they’re electors are chosen, then the ELECTORS (not you and me) vote for president when they gather as the electoral college. For quite a while some states had the legislature directly appoint electors, no popular vote at all.
Early voting in my county started yesterday, and it was very heavy according to the news reports. I’m in Texas, but I prefer not to identify my actual location.

No, I meant what type of venue.... library, courthouse, restaurant, that kind of thing.
I will be happy to vote on Feb. 4 at the local fire station myself.
I think the venues change from county to county.
Texas had in the 15 largest counties 4.10% voting on the first day of early voting. That includes in person and mail ballots. Texas will probably reach about 30% statewide if the past is any indication.

Venues change over time but I’ve seen them in court houses, sub courthouses, other gov’t facilites such as activity centers in parks, libraries and church activity buildings. In my county in the past I”ve even seen them in places like K-mart and Walmarts.
Interesting trend, deport. However, who is it that holds these ballots until they can be counted? They are not counted right away, right?
Well, isn’t that special? Voting at K-mart on the way to and from shopping. Why not 7-Eleven? We’re already voting there with our coffee cups.
Mail in goes to the County election official’s office I would assume and not the polling locations. The polling locations use computer equipment and thus I guess the info stays with the puter until downloaded. Not sure if it’s done daily or at the end of early voting. I don’t have that answer.
It used to be an outing for the nursing home groups. Someone usually would send a van around and pick up the ambulatory people and take them to vote and they could then go shopping, etc.

That’s exactly what came to mind for me when I read that passage too...simply horrifying.
I am in San Antonio(Bexar County). Early voting started yesterday, and it was very heavy according to the news reports.
The vast majority of early voting locations are public libraries, many are city halls, several are churches, the rest are a mix of neighborhood centers & churches.
