CNN is up to their old tricks again. They complain and complain because Palin supposedly never gives interviews with the MSM, then they ambush her and do a hatchet job in the every interview opportunity they get. In the clip below they attempt to trip Palin up with this quote from National Review:
Watching press coverage of the Republican candidate for vice president, its sometimes hard to decide whether Sarah Palin is incompetent, stupid, unqualified, corrupt, backward, or or, well, all of the above. Palin, the governor of Alaska, has faced more criticism than any vice-presidential candidate since 1988, when Democrats and the press tore into Dan Quayle. In fact, Palin may have it even worse than Quayle, since shes taking flak not only from Democrats and the press but from some conservative opinion leaders as well .
Yes, there are legitimate concerns about Palins lack of experience. Who wouldnt, at the very least, wish that she had more time in the governors office on her résumé? But a look at Palins 20 months in power, along with interviews with people who worked with her, shows her to be a serious executive, a governor who picked important things to do and got them done and who didnt just stumble into an 80 percent job-approval rating.
The problem here is, the looser interviewer guy only asked the part in bold, completely leaving out the rest of the quote and the context. Here is the video:
It seems pretty clear to me that Palin doesnt owe these hacks in the MSM anything. I wouldnt give another single interview to these fools because they have been so embarrassingly irresponsible in their reporting of Sarah Palin that it borders on criminal. Too bad Joe Biden is too chicken livered to give any interviews and it is equally as bad that even if he did, the MSM would probably not even ask him what he meant by Obama is going to be tested with a major international crisis, or how did Pres. Roosevelt address the Americans on TV before the Great Depression. I imagine they might ask him tough questions like, Sen. Biden, boxers, briefs or Depends?

One of these days maybe pubbies will get smart and require contracts to do interviews with stipulations that what is to be aired MUST be approved by the campaign and shown unedited or they get sued for breach of contract.
and yet her team keeps sending her marching right into direct fire?! What do they expect?
Sarah responded very well. CNN cannot possilby be considered a NEWS organization any longer.
Guess what CNN no one is listening
Sarah did just fine in the interview. National Review should be upset but Sarah did pretty well and has nothing to be embarrassed over.
Screw the MSM, who do they think they are? Obviously trying to demoralize the GOP faithful. It's time to shock them by going to the polls while the liberals stay at home complacent since the MSM is communicating that the election is all but locked up for Obama.
Her Tasergate comment was priceless.
Liberals cannot understand or explain conservatism at all. The media will ALWAYS be biased because they dont know what to ask or say, we are fighting a battle that will never be won with the MSM. Our fight must be taken to the alternative press. GOD HELP US. Just remember when it feels good it usually is not good. Obama feels good to people (he is a fad, a fashion statement) and he is NOT. Sadly, we might find out the hard way.
Has the I.R.S completed it’s investigation of CNN people yet? I have not heard anything about it lately. They better NOT be fudging on their taxes at all.
National Review needs to go on the warpath and demand a retraction and apology from CNN. Not just the McCain campaign but NR too -— b/c this grotesque twisting of words that appeared in NR is an offence against all real journalists (if some still exist) and against National Review in particular.
CNN used a quote which obviously mocks the MEDIA’s portrayal of Governor Palin and ripped it out of context in order to pretend that the quote expressed the actual view of the writer — as though “oh, look, here’s another conservative pundit ripping you, Gov. Palin.”
This shows yet again the mendacity of so many of the Mediascum, who will stoop to anything to pursue their pro-Demagogue, pro-socialist agenda.
Indeed.
A professional news organization would fire an interviewer for such a lying stunt.
Then it would be a political ad, not an interview.
I posted that article from National Review magazine on 10/14/08 and knew immediately that the CNN reporter was completely lying (NOT taking out of context, but LYING) about Byron York’s words. Anyone who’d like to see that now famous first paragraph or the whole article, check out “Sarah Palin, Governor.”
And I bet there are massive layoffs at CNNLIES after November 4th. And it's a long time till the hurricane seasons starts. So there is NO Katrina to help CNNLIES in their downward ratings!
