DAMMIT MCCAIN LISTEN TO SARAH AND GO TO MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!
But, but, but...
The MSM said McCain was pulling out of Colorado!
ping
On Friday John & Cindy McCain will also be in the state many here falsely claim to be a lock for Obama - New Mexico.
How is this Breaking News????
Do these rallies actually have an effect on the vote? If yes, how do they have an effect?
Oh, hush.
When false rumors of a pullout in Colorado circulate, news of the candidate himself holding rallies there is pertinent.
Colorado has more independent voters than either Dem or GOP voters. I think McCain can win the state.
Go take a nap.
Are you seriously asking whether campaigning does any good??
Read around a little and you'll get it
Local news covers them pretty well. That gets the message to state voters.
McPalin will take Colorado
Sorry, I guess I don’t understand the posting rules. What constitutes breaking news?
For what it’s worth, Zogby has it for Obama at les than 1 point.

WOW SHE is awesome this morning. Sarah....Sarah....Sarah ....Sarah!!
Any other FReepers in the Durango area? I live in this mini-Boulder liberal area.
Great News! I thought McCain was giving up on Colorado. Must be another example of a mainstream media lie. How is the ground game going in Colorado?
“DAMMIT MCCAIN LISTEN TO SARAH AND GO TO MICHIGAN!!!!!!!!!”
Colorado is the lynchpin to a McCain victory and its possibly the most important state there is to win, tied with Virginia. Gotta hold those, gotta campaign in those, gotta take the fight to those!
Hah. The response we got to CNN’s report that McCain was ceding Colorado was “hogwash”.
As far as the ground game, all I can report on is the mood & activity in my local McCain office which is busy & upbeat. Lots of volunteers & dedication.
McCain can win Colorado. He can't win Michigan. I'd rather see him spend more time in that state rather than less.
Ross Perot bought 3,or was it 4 half-hours on network tv. He got 19% of the vote. I think the GOP needs more long-form presentations. You can't counter-act the media's mindless soundbites with our soundbites. I think a Perot-style presentation by McCain on the Freddy Mac, Fannie Mae situation would destroy the Dem's. He hasn't touched it and is getting the blame.
