McCain DID at one time support fetal stem cell research. But he has probably changed his mind on this, since fetal stem cells are no longer necessary. That’s why the libs are not talking about it much in this election, because stem cell research no longer serves as an excuse or justification for abortion.

It used to be that you had two kinds of stem cells, but now you can effectively create pluripotent stem cells without killing a fetus, so the science has completely changed and the abortionists no longer have a convenient hook to hang their case on.

The AP report is surprisingly straightforward and objective in presenting Sarah’s confidence in God. No snide mockery, no putdowns. Kind of surprising.

Palin says election result rests in God's hands

She has a good point -- and God has raised up an army of voters to ensure that Gov. Sarah Palin will win.

Meanwhile, the ongoing JNM Poll of living, breathing, actual voters has McCain/Palin leading with 68% of the popular vote, and 535 Electoral Votes (MOE +/- 5.23%).

This poll is conducted by telephone, email, in-person, drive-by, yard sign, bumper sticker, online, eavesdropping, mindreading, and general acknowledgement of demographic realities, current events, and the natural desire of people to live long and prosper. We don't just make stuff up.

Yep, it gonna be McCain/Palin in a landslide.

And, as an aside: I don’t know what is going to happen on November 4. But the more I see of Palin, the more convinced I am that God has his hand on her.

That’s not just a Church of God or Assembly of God phrase. And intercession is what we all do when we pray diligently.

Those are Christian expressions. ;-)

AMEN LadyPilgrim!!! And what a experience it IS! I know that a lot of believers here on FR have experienced the same thing as of late....crying out to Our Father!! Interceding on behalf of our backslidden land!

"To me, it motivates us, makes us work that much harder," Palin said. "And it also strengthens my faith, because I'm going to know, at the end of the day, putting this in God's hands, that the right thing for America will be done at the end of the day on Nov. 4. So I'm not discouraged at all."

Amen.

Can we say God’s hands and still attract the independents?

Who gives a damn, say it anyway.

Hey sweet Polly!!! yes! Even our Lord prays for us!!!

And that’s what the church universal is doing.
Hopefully, all over the world, they are interceding for the Church in America!!! ;-)))

Come to think of it....that could be why we have the urgency we do, about this election.

Somebody’s praying...
Hallelujah!!!

AMEN!!!! That’s what I was going to say. Calling all Christians to pray. God did not say that the non-Christians had to do anything to heal our land, but, the people called by his name who are all the true Christians-all denominations.

This statement is mostly false and designed by the AP writer to alienate McCain from his base....but McCain doesn't support the platform on three issues important to evangelicals: abortion, gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research...from what I can find McCain has always been pro-life, perhaps with the rape exception, opposes gay marriages & civil unions. Doesn't anybody notice that? Just more deliberatly manipulative biased "journalism"

Yes this is why they fear her. They fear her for the same reason they feared Reagan. The sad thing is if this election goes to Obama the most vile type of ugly lying politics will have won. We do not just fight against flesh and blood...

“This is what I’ve been saying - and praying - each and every day. God is in total control. He already knows the outcome of this election.

My only comfort is, if Obambi wins in November, all of His Children may be one giant step closer to going home.”

Amen to that.

I’ve been having a hard time sleeping lately watching and hearing all the injustices happening this election season. The only thing keeping me sane is God’s word and nightly removing the weight off my shoulders and handing it to God. Thank you, Lord.

Kudos to you, Kimmers, for raising two sons who are now in the military. Prayers offered up for their safety, and for this election.

God has used Palin and Joe the Plumber and in these final days He will use someone else. Just keep praying and watch.

“Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.” I Corinthians 1:26-29

You know I have always thought the biggest mistake that conservatives is to pretend to be what they are not. America does not hate God. At least not the part I love.
