"You've just got investors getting very worried, with very strong and its' very difficult to exporters to see any growth going ahead," he added. Even in Japan, exports are a minor portion of the economy. They should be worried about what's going on domestically.

I was living there at the time. The worst was the hospital bill after our son was born. I was reimbursed later but I had to fork out the cash first and then turn in a claim. Ouch. The best was when we moved into base housing and got the deposit back for the apartment we moved out of. I had paid the deposit when the yen was about 135 to the dollar and got it back at about 90. I hear you, but I still loved the place.

Yes, I hear screams coming from all over Asia. The today's level of share prices in S. Korea is about right.
It was way too much inflated, IMHO.

Nikkei rebounds, only down 3% now.

Currently, shares in many countries are showing simultaneous rebound. S. Korea, Japan, China, and Hong Kong.
Yo-yo days again? However, I suspect the market will end low, not a little low, when the day is over.

As I told y’all last November on this forum (after the Dow suffered a “Gatekeeper” 78% fibonacci top, and reiterated again 2 weeks ago when the Dow hit 9700...this market is going to 7200. There can be no bottom until it does.

We are getting there.
