Obama announced on Monday that he would be traveling to Hawaii to visit his gravely ill grandmother. The Obama's spent their family's summer vacation in Hawaii and by all reports the candidate's grandmother has taken a turn for the worst in the last few weeks. I sincerely wish the best for Grandma Dunham, Obama's maternal grandmother.
I was listening to Rush Limbaugh this morning as he discussed Obama's four day delay in traveling to his stricken grandmother's bedside. Rush pointed out that most of us would move heaven and earth to get to a dying relative and not delay our departure for four or five days. Maybe there is another reason that Obama needs to be in Hawaii--a reason that threatens his candidacy for President of the United States.
There is a question that the mainstream media hasn't posed to the candidate in any meaningful way or independently researched (actually there are many more). But there is only one question that would require Obama travel to Hawaii. He needs to collect his original legal birth records--records the candidate has refused to produce even when a judge has ordered their production.
When Obama made his travel announcement he knew that there would be a summary judgment against him in the Berg case the nest day. Obama's lack of response to the court is a legal affirmation that he is not a legal citizen of the United States, and as of this writing Berg has proved his case. Obama has run out of time and can no longer deflect a serious question that threatens his candidacy. Judges really do not like it when you ignore their requests.
Under Hawaiian law, birth records are sealed and can only be released to the person named on the record. This is Obama's unstated reason for an emergency trip to visit his only remaining U.S. relative--the only person who can answer whether or not Obama was born in Hawaii or Kenya. And Obama can only request the necessary documents in person--if these documents exist at all.
His Kenyan grandmother is on record as stating Barak Obama Jr. was born in Kenya.
There has been a discussion for months that the Clinton camp had an October surprise up its sleeve. Is it conceivable that the Berg v Obama lawsuit is Hillary's revenge? After all, Berg is a democrat loyalist who filed this lawsuit just four days before the start of the DNC gathering in Denver. Just because the press showed no interest in the case when it was filed doesn't mean the case was without merit and Berg has done a good job of moving the case through the court.
Hats off to Berg! He has done more to protect the constitutional question of the nominee's legal right to run for office than the Democrat Party or national press has done. If Berg is correct--and Obama's refusal to produce documents are an admission Berg is right--than the senator never had a right to hold any public office in the United States, not even Illinois state senator.
It also appears that Obama's mother waived his citizenship when the family lived in Indonesia. Did Obama's Indonesian stepfather, LoLo Satoro, adopt the young Obama?
There are a number of other questions. Let's see if Obama can start answering the court after he returns from visiting his sick grandmother.

Until a couple of days ago Severin had the towel thrown in on McCain winning the election.
Rush made an odd point when talking about the certificate. He said, “do you really think that the dems would dump him”? I would think that they would have no choice. It states on the Constitution that a person must be a natural born citizen to run for POTUS...doesn’t it?!
I think his problem is his Indonesian adoption. He became an Indo citizen and gave up US citizenship. When he came back to Hawaii he never met the requirement to become a US citizen again.

A guy at work today actually told me that it wouldn’t matter if Barry was born in Kenya. I said, huh? Hello? That’s unconstitutional!!! Then he said because Barry’s mother was a U.S. citizen it would make him eligible for president. What? Did I miss that day in civics class in high school? I thought you had to be a U.S. citizen, that’s why Arnold Schwarzenegger is ineligible because he was born in Austria. Can someone help me on this? Is my co-worker an idiot or am I the one that doesn’t know the Constitution?

I think Bill Clinton had a wind of this when he was asked if Obomber was qualified to be President. i think he said something like all a person need is to meet constitutional muster. I do not think he likes losing control of the crats to Dean and Co.

I don’t know, if I were asked to produce my original birth certificate proving U.S. citizenship, I could make it available in about 10 minutes.
Yet for some strange reason, Obama does not seem to have the same ability to produce his COLB proving US citizenship. I ask myself, “why”, and the answer always comes back, “Because it doesn’t exist”.
This part is not accurate. He just could not be President or VP.

I have a 16 foot wall of sliding glass doors forming the wall of my office. Last week I had the very old doors removed and replaced with new ones.

I suspect it would not matter to a lot of folks if he regained US citizenship. If he holds citizenship in both the U.S. and Indonesia (the largest Muslim country in the world), a lot of folks will not see him as a suitable candidate. They want a president who is loyal to the US and the US alone.

I have an uneasy suspicion that this is a ruse to get us to focus on something that can be disproved in order to avoid more damaging stuff.
The Clintons were masters of this game and Obama’s people probably picked it up from them.
That said, there’s always hope. Can anyone here imagine the outcry if Obama were elected and then it was proved that he is not a US citizen? It would go to the SCOTUS and the level of MSM hysteria would be incredible.
The news about this issue is where it’s being reported as news, not so much what is being reported (cuz we know the latter already). If or when it shows up in major media then it is news because it is news.

Further, if he was adopted by his Mother's second husband, that adoption would have nullified his US Citizenship. He still could have regained that Citizenship by reaffirming it in front of a judge when he was 18. Instead of doing that, he maintained his Indonesian Citizenship by carrying a INDO passport at least until he was 20.

I think the same could be said to Obama? How hard could it be to produce a birth certificate? How did he get a drivers license? The burden of proof is on Obama. How can one put up or shut up when only Obama can clear this up? He could clear this up easily and I have to be suspicious as to the reasoning behind him not doing that.
Not as simple as that. There were age and residency requirements as well which mama Obama did not meet.

You can be born a US citizen overseas, but you may not meet the requirement(s) of being a natural born US citizen according to the law. This law applied when one parent is a foreign national.
Anne Dunham did not meet the law requirement that was in effect in 1961 for her son Barack to be considered a 'natural born citizen' because she was still considered a minor. Dunham had to live 10 continuous years inside the United States (at some time in her life) when her baby was born, and 5 of those years had to be over the age of 14; although, I've read 5 of the years had to be over the age of 21 on a law site. In either case Anne Dunham did not meet what the law specified.
She had Barack at the age of 17 or 18. Therefore, Obama did not meet the test required by law and cannot be president. The law was not changed until 1986 and it was not retroactive.
Obama is an illegal alien and should be arrested by ICE and deported.
I think that you have to look at the laws at the time of the birth. In this case, O’s mother was 18 which meant she had not technically been a citizen herself for long enough to have that be enough to establish his citizenship if born abroad. McCain was not born in the US although he was born in one of its possessions, Panama Canal Zone to military so under the laws in place when he was born, that made him a natural citizen. I think that the Indonesian adoption is also interesting although if all it takes to make him a citizen after that is to take an oath, it seems it could be cured.
Yes, but the fact is, whatever he can collect from there is going to be fake or show that he wasn’t born there, but one was ISSUED there (ie for the kenya birth).
I said the same thing to hubby last night. If Obama wins, that’s it for the Clintons. He will be the Dems new shining star and Bill and Hil will be thrown out like yesterday’s trash. Bill, especially, would not be able to bear not being the big dog. His ego is too fragile to let this upstart take away his crown.
