Makes a helluva lot of sense to me.
I agree it could also be a hoax, but it’s the local police’s job to figure that out. And given the exposure of this case, I suspect they’ll figure that out, or catch a perp, in short order.
I pray it’s not a mirror.
I’m thinking it depends how he was holding her down/still. What position. He must’ve held her head tight to carve the B so well. Probably threatened her not to move her head or she just complied so he wouldn’t damage her face further. I wonder if he was telling her what he was doing when he was carving her face.

So, Here is my tale up till now. I left Texas the day after getting back from training, spending 12 hours at home.
I drove straight through to Dansville NY, with no sleep, little food, and lots of coffee and energy drinks. I spent my extra time seeing family, and then got down to buisiness.
Ihave had an INSANE response in NY. I had NO idea there were this many GREAT republicans in this big blue state.
And every campus i have been to has wanted to get a McCain Victory Headquarters and campaign for him as well as the congressmen we are working for.
Things are going really well here in NY, and i simply cant wait for this coming up week. Albany ( pronounced ALLBUNNY, so my Siena college Republicans tell me) has been great for some CRS.
Next week we are doing Voter Reg Drives and Recruitment stuff. Its going to be another GREAT week!!

No, it’s not reversed. If the attacker knocked her to the ground and bent over her head to carve the letter, and he’s facing in the same direction as her legs (her head is near the feet of the attacker, her legs pointing in a direction opposite to where he is standing), then it makes perfect sense that the letter B is oriented exactly as it is. This actually makes it more convincing that this is a crime and not a hoax.
If the assailant stood over her, he would be doing it from the top of her head. I dont think they were thinking aesthetics when he was carving her.
No mcCain has to stay far, far away from this. We on the other hand, should be screaming from the roof.

Only an idiot would falsify a mugging at an ATM, as it is one location that has cameras going most of the time. Her attacker should show up on the surveillance video, at least at the beginning of the attack which was said to have started at the ATM.
Oh, I believe it——there have been other incidents of violence reported on the web.
If this is what they do to GET power, imagine what they will do if they actually HAVE power.
It’s not a reversed picture, and, having read the rest of the story, I’m having the same instinctive caution you expressed. I’d be just a little careful about getting too far out on a limb on this one.
