The Pennsylvania Democrat who has sued Sen. Barack Obama demanding he prove his American citizenship – and therefore qualification to run for president – has confirmed he has a recording of a telephone call from the senator's paternal grandmother confirming his birth in Kenya.
The issue of Obama's birthplace, which he states is Honolulu in 1961, has been raised enough times that his campaign website has posted an image purporting to be of his "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaii.
But Philip J. Berg, a former deputy attorney general for Pennsylvania, told the Michael Savage talk radio program tonight that the document is forged and that he has a tape recording he will soon release.
"This has been a real sham he's pulled off for the last 20 months," Berg told Savage. "I'll release it [the tape] in a day or two, affidavits from her talking to a certain person. I heard the tape. She was speaking [to someone] here in the United States."
He said the telephone call was from Obama's paternal grandmother affirming she "was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born Aug. 4, 1961."

Obama campaign officials acknowledged the dispute by posting the image purporting to be a copy of his certification of live birth earlier this year. But they've declined to return WND requests for comment...
WND reported earlier this week Berg's claim that Obama has legally "admitted" the accusations included in his lawsuit, including that he was born in Mombosa, Kenya, by not responding to the allegations.
Berg has cited Rule 36 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, which states that unless the accused party provides written answer or objection to charges within 30 days, the accused legally admits the matter.

She allegedly had her child at 18. The laws at the time *\(paraphrased) stated that to confer citizenship, one had to have been a legal resident of the USA for 10 years (I think), 5 of which had to be after the age of 14. IOW, his mother would have had to be 19 to pass on citizenship.
It is intriguing and irresistible to to think there could be some crazy twist in the plot where the good guys win. I feel euphoric desperation with each new turn of the birth certificate story. Your observation is keeping me within the reach of reason. My obsession with the birth certificate story might be related to my lack of confidence that we might achieve a conventional victory this election.
Obama mother was a minor when she gave birth to Obama and the father was a foreign national. If Obama was born overseas, his mother failed the test according to the law in place at the time, and therefore, Obama did not meet the U.S. Constitutional requirement to be a ‘natural born’ citizen.
If Obama wins this election, I can only pray that I’m right. This is a rubicon moment for America. God save us! God bless America!

Having followed this issue for many a month, I fully believe BO ineligible for president.
More attention is being directed at his qualifications and background.
There is a tremendous amount of evidence for fraud and deceit. Question is how to make this issue explode by election day. It all becomes academic after that.

Yeah, I got them mixed up. But the principle is the same. George Romney was born in Mexico of American missionary parents, yet was a candidate for the presidency and, as far as I know, was considered a natural born citizen.

Hawaii offered this certificate of live birth because there were so many births at home and away from Hawaii in the early years of statehood. It is dependent on facts given to the registrar and does NOT constitute Citizenship, just recognizes birth.
