Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says
CNN ^ | October 25, 2008

Posted on 10/25/2008 1:33:57 PM PDT by MountainLoop

CNN) -- With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say. Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."

A Palin associate, however, said the candidate is simply trying to "bust free" of what she believes was a damaging and mismanaged roll-out.

McCain sources say Palin has gone off-message several times, and they privately wonder whether the incidents were deliberate. They cited an instance in which she labeled robocalls -- recorded messages often used to attack a candidate's opponent -- "irritating" even as the campaign defended their use. Also, they pointed to her telling reporters she disagreed with the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source says she appears to be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

What a crock. The MSM and libs are scared of Palin and just stirring the pot.

If any of McCain's staff doesn't like Palin, it's because Palin is the only one in the organization with any guts.

This was debunked by Palin’s aides earlier.
This was started last week with Chuck Todd saying Palin and McCain’s ‘body language’ was tense around each other.
Now this is the new Obama talking points faxed out and the media is reporting it like the sheep they are.

Who is the disgrace of person supposedly airing dirty laundry to the MSM like this?:

“She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone,” said this McCain adviser. “She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.”

CNN fabricates a story about a split between McCain and Palin. They’ve run out of angles to cover, so now they are making them up out of whole cloth in a divide-and-conquer strategy. I thought journalists weren’t supposed to inject themselves into a story.

McCain staffers sucking up to CNN. Highly unlikely, but if so, McCain should fire them immediately. Palin is the only thing keeping McCain in the race. But then, maybe it’s just CNN sowing disinformation to upset McCain/Palin. I wouldn’t put it past them.

Well, yeah. She'll be one of the most in demand conservative speakers on Nov. 5th.

It’s about time she told the Bush Aides to stick it! Although the Bush aides did do a good job in helping Bush garner the lowest approval numbers in the history of polling. If Bush would have hit back against the lies and smears both he and the nation would have been far better off.

Sounds like she NEEDED to start ignoring those clowns.

The final line from an article I posted on Sarah Palin’s rally here yesterday:

“After we left the rally, I turned on the radio and the first words I heard were something like, ‘...Sarah Palin’s speech here in Springfield, and everybody that we’ve talked to so far seems to agree: Sarah Palin hit a massive home run.’”

Palin is not used to being saddled to a limp-wristed “aisle crosser”! She wants to win, not be a bipartisan loser. Maybe that’s why we haven’t heard her endorse Obama every other day, the way her campaign mate has done. You know damn well that if the MSM is reporting it, it is probably a lie. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Palin is indeed, privately, fuming like he** at the spinelessness of McCain. But she’s classy enough to keep it to herself.

I just get the idea, that unlike McCain, Palin can think for herself, has her own, more conservative, more traditional, out side the Beltway values.

The Beltway elitist strike back.

true.

anyone whose seen McCain with Palin knows he envies her for going out there and saying the things he’s to afraid to. He doesn’t see it as a weakness at all, but a strength and he knows she’s his ticket to the WH if he wins.

Look at the interviews they’ve done together. McCain is always more comfortable and speaks about the things we want him to say when she is with him.

This is a fabricated story with unidentified sourcing in Politico this morning. CNN is simply re-reporting on the original unfounded story.

McCain and Palin are both doing their best to win this thing and in their own ways, which I may or may not agree with, but don’t buy this phoney baloney shuck and jive from sources like Politico and CNN.
