Isn’t “going rogue” a good description of how McCain’s attitude toward the Republican party in years when he is not running for office?

Great news. If her performance today in Indiana is any indication , Mac will be thrilled . The frat boy bushies cannot control her , she is not a woman they have seen before. If it's a man he's a maverick. If it's a strong woman . she is a diva . Lets hope they flog this story all week , it's the first positive thing they have said in weeks. Although the press is to lame to pick up on it. Sarah , throw whats left of the bush stench off the bus...

Isn’t “rogue” the same thing as a “maverick?” I don’t know why this is news to anyone. I’ve expecting her to “go rogue” since the announcement that she was McCain’s VP choice.

Just back from Sarah’s rally in Fort Wayne. The message in her speech was 90% the spread the wealth around message. I didn’t hear anything I would describe as “rogue”.

"Palin Gone Rogue"
Sounds like a better title than "The Bourne Conspiracy"!
And just about the only hope McCain has of EVER sitting behind
the desk in The Oval Office.
Maybe Palin realized that saying "Sir, Unleash Me" to McCain
would have brought down a chorus of negative viewpoints from
McCain's "advisors".
As much as a middle-aged, conservative white guy can say it,
I'll say it to Sarah Palin:
"YOU GO GIRL!!!"
...and don't let "the experts" or "the consultants" tell you
any different!!!

Let's see. A VP candidate gets benched for a day or two for his gaffes (ie accidentally telling the truth). A VP candidate is kept away from the media, hasn't had a press conference in a month and doesn't take questions from reporters. A VP candidate does an interview with a local reporter and gets so creamed that the campaign bans the tv station.
So, what does the media report? That the OTHER VP candidate is going rogue. Yup, I believe CNN.

She made all the difference for me in this election. I really was not interested at all in voting for McCain but I was sure as blazes voting against Obama or Hillary. As a VietNam era Vet (Stratcom Tehran 72-74) I was sorely disappointed in John’s liberal bents no matter how much of a hero he was for enduring the HH.
Sarah will carry this party to places we all thought it was going to in 94. Her Moxy and ability to speak directly to the people of this country going around the MSM bias filter will bring us to the Shining City, Part 2.

I don't know if there is any truth to this story, but, getting rid of Bush's people is a good move. They have allowed the Ratz to turn the majority of the country against him while keeping their ungrateful butts safe for 7 1/2 years. Toss ‘em, they are incompetent.

If she is snubbing the Bush Aides,,, I love her even more. McClellan, Powell, Harriet, Pannetta, Freeh, Bremmer,Condelezza, Paulsen, etc,,,, all have Bush Administration on the resume,,,
Many of them want to feather their nests, or make Bush look good, more than they want to elect Sarah.
This is just more “Noonanism”.
Go Sarah! We Love you.

I just attended her rally in Fort Wayne. This paragraph summarizes the theme of her speech and I wouldn’t call it “rogue”:
“Our opponent is not being candid with you about his tax plans,” Palin said. “He’s hiding his real agenda of redistributing your hard-earned money. He said he’s for a tax credit, which is when the government takes more of your money to give it away to someone else according to that politician’s priorities.”
