I have a lot of respect for them. They’re a group ignored.
Glad they are with us. And, I liked that video. ;-)

My goodness I thought this was the case but didn’t know for sure.
But I could see a new party forming after visiting the dems for McCain and hillary forums.
Those folks are dims but voting McCain because their party has been taken away from them.

.
I order tobacco on line for my grandfather from an Indian reservation in the NE part of the country.
One day when placing an order I decided to enclose a video I had found on native Americans and the consequences of having Obama as president as well as two or three pages of expose on Obama with the plea to cast their vote for McCain.

Much to my amazement, I received a long letter back from a native American lady.
She stated she was not aware of all this about Obama, thanked me profusly and said she would forward the information to her hundreds of native American contacts!!
She wrote me at least four or five more times, asking for more information and thanking me again and again.

You just never know when you might strike pay dirt!
I was just thrilled about all this.

I've worked with a number of Indian and Alaska Native tribes over the past couple of years, and I've found, quite ironically considering their tortured history with the U.S. government, that American Indians are some of the most patriotic Americans I have ever encountered.

At the San Carlos Apache reservation in Arizona (Geronimo's old stomping grounds), I saw pictures of George W. Bush hanging everywhere, and at an old desert hilltop cemetery overlooking a several churches on the reservation, I encountered a virtual forest of full-sized flag poles over the graves of deceased Apache veterans. Seems that on Labor Day (!) each year, local Apaches hoist American flags up those poles to recognize the veterans and their achievements and to celebrate their warrior culture as U.S. soldiers, sailors, Marines, and airmen. I couldn't believe what I saw there. It was truly amazing!

I agree with you! It is almost like the parties are going to split into conservatives on one side against the liberals left in the Dems. A lot of Dems have had it with Howard Dean, Pelosi, Reid, and especially Obama and his groupies. The detest Obama.

With websites like I have seen and emails I am receiving I don’t see Obama winning. The drive-bys talk about the black vote going to Obama but when have blacks voted in recent years for a Republican for President except maybe 10% or a little more — certainly not in big numbers.

When you think of the groups supporting McCain/Palin, it makes you wonder even more where the pollsters are getting their numbers.

I can confirm that McCain is popular among the Navajos. Many of them also resent the Katrina reaction when many, many Navajos have lived FOREVER without running water, etc.
LOTS of VETERANS among these very patriotic people. I suspect that Hussein just thinks that he’s going to get their vote, but I doubt it.

“Excellent work!”

Thanks. I was just amazed at the response- and thrilled to death that I may have gotten some votes against Hussein.

Your heart would break if you go by the Window Rock Veterans cemetery on Memorial Day and Veterans day. Each grave has a FULL SIZED American flag flying above it. They are proud of their veterans.

The Obama signs are put out by United Mine Workers. They were running a carpetbagger candidate (New Yorker) for congress named Howard Shankar who lost bigtime in the primary.

That's wonderful patriot! I am not full blooded, but I have a lot of Native ancestry. On both sides. It is good to hear you made a connection.

Thanks. I was a bit shy about sending the native American lady that video and exposure stuff on Obama- but then I thought, what the heck have I got to lose!
I was amazed at the response and just thrilled.

I think they’re so in hopes the fraud will pull this thing out...until they can’t keep quiet.
They are hoping and it’s not happening.
Their internals are telling them that. They can see the writing on the wall.
It’s going to worse as time gets closer though.

I like you, am getting emails from all over the country and some from across the pond.
And there is no way that I can see them taking the election except by fraud or force.

Native Americans are one group I never thought about in this election...

Since they just got an air permit for a new coal fired power plant, I imagine the Navajo Nation is watching things rather closely.

I was born in MS, and am at least 1/32 Cherokee, and unknown parts Choctaw and Chickasaw. Those three tribes originated from MS. My great-great-great grandfather was pure Cherokee and a Confederate sergeant.

Pretty much everyone from south MS is part native in some way. Most people have brown eyes, tan skin, muscular build, etc. Probably the most famous one would be Brett Favre.

When I moved away, it was odd to see so many people with red hair, pale skin, and skinny builds.
