Biden cut off another station for asking tough questions?

Posted on 10/27/2008 3:47:57 PM PDT by 4rcane

Via Breitbart, a hot tip from Philly.com’s gossip blogger. I can’t find confirmation but the detail about e-mails flooding the station does have the ring o’ Hopenchange about it.

If the interview’s archived on the CBS3 website, it’s escaped my attention. Am I missing it in my searches or did they conveniently “forget” to upload it?

Incidentally, dKos is already building a dossier on Barbara West. Did you know that her husband was once cited for not wearing his seatbelt?

Who needs stormtroopers when you have the volunteers at dKOS?

Hopefully the media will get the O’Biden intimidation message loud and clear. May ALL of them retaliate by giving this arrogant, holier-than-thou team the bad press they deserve.

If the media were truly as defending of the First Amendment as they claim to be, they would refuse to sell Obama air time over incidents like this.

Nah, it’s business as usual as the nation’s leading propaganda mills.

I read on the Channel 3 site that the station manager removed the video from the public view because he felt embarrassed by the way Biden was treated.

Personally I think that’s a load of B.S. because they treated Biden rather well.He just refused to answer their questions.

In Florida they made the point that there are plenty of stations that will play by their rules. Sadly, it’s true. But what they were really doing was threatening to help the competition. Like they’re some kind of rock star.

I keep pinching myself, trying to wake myself up. I seem to be having this nightmare about how are freedom is being taken away by some guy named Obama. I am certain this is not happening.....Please wake me....

It is truly incredible that the MSM is so cocoa-for-cocoapuffs on Obama that a TV interviewer actually daring to ask a few tough questions of a democrat candidate is considered a shocking act of lese majeste (I think that means disrespecting the king).

Barbara's husband is a lawbreaker non-seatbelt-wearer!!!

Sheesh. Aren't these the same people afraid of Bush spying on them?

Joe had better watch himself- if he causes The One to lose, the KOSsaks will see to it that he lose his senate seat to some left-wing kook.

I want to see him *really* blow his stack. He'll turn red, grit his teeth and start quivering, then he'll blow *all* his plugs. It'll sound like a truck running over a big sheet of bubble wrap. :)

It's bound to backfire, sooner or later....hopefully sooner. What happens when enough stations decide they've had enough? If one station is treated badly, it's just a matter of time before the other ones will be.

They will hang together, or hang separately, but hang they will.

I agree. You would hope they would wake up, but I don’t see much evidence of it.

Give them time. They’re dating an abuser. First comes (1) denial (2) grumbling (3) passive resistance (4) retaliation (5) breakup.

The left’s behavior vis-a-vis ‘Joe the Plumber’ and now Barbara West makes it clear why they were upset about the NSA’s signals intelligence against Al Qaeda: psychological projection.

They know that they themselves couldn’t exercise the power to eavedrop on overseas telecom without using it to spy on their political opponents, and can’t imagine that those of us who want to defend the Constitution as written, not reintepret it as a suicide pact, wouldn’t do likewise.

Sheesh. Aren't these the same people afraid of Bush spying on them?

That's why: they're sure anyone who claims to live by a more restrained moral code than they themselves exhibit is a hypocrite.

That’s a good point. And there’s no doubt they would have thought it a good idea if they had thought of it. But to tell the truth, it would have worried me.

I’m still concerned over the implications if they are elected to office with those things in place.
