I happen to know the person who found this audio. It is an individual person, with no more resources than a desire to know everything that he or she can about who might be the next president of the United States and the most powerful man in the world.
I know that this person does not have teams of highly paid professionals, does not work out of a corner office in a skyscraper in New York, does not have access to all of the subtle and hidden conduits of information … who possesses no network television stations, owns no satellite time, does not receive billions in advertising dollars, and has a staff of exactly one.
I do not blame Barack Obama for believing in wealth distribution. That’s his right as an American. I do blame him for lying about what he believes. But his entire life has been applying for the next job at the expense of the current one. He’s at the end of the line now.
I do, however, blame the press for allowing an individual citizen to do the work that they employ standing armies of so-called professionals for. I know they are capable of this kind of investigative journalism: It only took them a day or two to damage Sarah Palin with wild accusations about her baby’s paternity and less time than that to destroy a man who happened to be playing ball when the Messiah decided to roll up looking for a few more votes on the way to the inevitable coronation.
We no longer have an independent, fair, investigative press. That is abundantly clear to everyone — even the press. It is just another of the facts that they refuse to report, because it does not suit them.

How is it that no network, no newspaper could come up with this audiotape? It was on an NPR station, it should be relatively easy to find. The liberal news media has failed, and in the course of failing, it has misled the American public.
We need to oppose Obama’s socialist plans. We need to become Joe the Plumbers.

Actually, FOX was reporting this around 9 am this morning. I was stunned that it made it there!

BUT in American we the CITIZENS are still keepers of liberty and freedom.

My gut tells me A LOT of people are feed up with MSM bias and will purposely vote against Obama just to stick it the eye of the MSM.

Regarding that last paragraph, much of the MSM has lost it’s way, and no longer gives us the news anymore, but gives us what they want us to hear.
No matter how this election turns out, I am going to e-mail all the alphabets and let them know that I can no longer trust them to bring me the real news, since they couldn’t be bothered to really look into 0bama as closely as they looked into Gov. Palin and everything in her background, and that I will no longer be watching ANY of them, ever, and that they deserve their impending irrelevancy.

I think it was ABC nightly news that showed McCain talking about this, then part of Obama’s tape. Of course they edited it so that it didn’t look as if Obama was talking about redistribution of wealth at all and McCain was lying.
They were playing damage control, so that when this is brought up the people who only get their news from tv will think it’s a distortion of what was said.
I was briefly compelled to stand near a TV with CNN on this afternoon. They did a "story" on it. But they quoted only a harmless, irrelevant fragment of what 0bama said on the 2001 tape, and made it appear as if that snippet was what all the fuss is about! It was outright manipulative deception by CNN.

The point Michelle M is making is that Americans have the right to believe in whatever they want. They also have right to run for office. These are our basic freedoms.
But, the news media has an obligation to investigate and report to the American people about who these candidates are and what they are about.
The MSM have had 2 years to check out this Marxist and report but they obviously made a deliberate effort to sweep any crud they found on Obama under the rug. In 2 years the have failed to do even the most basic reporting on BHO. The only real investigating and reporting done on BHO was by amateurs in the blogosphere.

Did anyone hear George S’s roundtable from Sunday morning? I just watched it, and was amazed at what George Will and Cokie Roberts both said, that the Republicans making a big deal about Osama’s “socialist comments” has no merit, because the U.S. govt already does it, through bail outs to banks and other govt subsidies. They said that to get technical about Osama’s plan to help “redistribute wealth” isn’t all that earth-shattering at all, and that the Conservative base isn’t who elects the POTUS — it’s the moderates, and according to ABC polling, they’re vastly undecided.

Not at all. And they probably know much more. They have deliberately swept it all under the rug. And if their guy gets in straight news reporting will not be allowed. Everything will be sanitized by government censors in the interest of "fairness".
The fact that over 70% of the people in the country realize that the press is in the tank for the messiah gives me hope..though I know that many of those are Dems who think that it’s perfectly okay as long as the press is on their side..
One would hope that the media would be shamed into doing their job...they were once when SNL mocked their treatment of Obama and Hillary...but their ideology is top priority. I hope McCain wins just to show them they still don’t have the power they think they have. They’ve gone all out this time, more than with Kerry or Gore, so we’ve GOT to pull McCain over the threshold in order to keep the press in line as well as for the obvious reasons.

They are openly refusing to discuss or talk about anything negative about Nobama, no matter how true it is.
I hope they choke when more of this come out-—after Nov 4 when McCain is the new President Elect.
