[Obama]: "I'm not interested in the suburbs. The suburbs bore me..."
(Excerpt) Read more at drudgereport.com ...
It's a 2007 New York Times article, in which Obama slipped up when talking to an AP writer.
Obama really isn't interested in what suburban voters want, either. He just wants their wealth to redistribute to the inner cities.
What say you?
So why would the NYT try to destroy their Messiah?
I say I already know that!
“Suburbs” is a black-racist code word for “Caucasion”
If the suburbs bore him so, why is he going to take their money?
I agree, the fishing isn’t as good in the suburbs.
“What say you?”
Sounds like an urban drug dealer quote.
Well, get a load of this BHO:
I live in the #4 county in the nation in which to raise a family according to Forbes Magazine. And guess what? IT’S A SUBURB!
Sounds like an urban drug dealer quote.
This is a piece that the NY Times probably thought would never come to light, and that it would be read by libtards, agreed to by them, and forgotten.
Now that Obama’s socialist/redistributive ideas and goals have come to light, this piece and what it says has new life now.
Drudge is working hard for hits. The next five days he will set a record for hits.
nice. I’ll have to use that one.
Drudge is doing the job the MSM won’t do.
Pass this one on folks. He has a soft spot for criminals...

The suburbs bore Obama like the guns they own, the religion they revere, and the ‘bitterness’ they feel....
..the suburbs are going to be dancing on his political grave come Nov. 4
He would rather be in murder city, Chicago the scenes he helped create.
Obama has basically run an urban+colleges+blacks campaign. He’s targeted a more narrow slice of the campaign than Kerry did in ‘04. I guess his prolifigate ad spending can make up for this strategy, though I’m not sure. He’s going to get trounced by rural and suburban voters. Now that it’s becoming clear that he’s not some kind of centrist ‘New Democrat’ but rather an old school liberal with a racial chip on his shoulder I will not be surprised to see him underperform Kerry.
It’s a mistake to start with the Kerry performance of ‘04 as a baseline of support for Obama. He’s alienated way too many Kerry voters with this campaign. Plus, how many people who cast their ballot for the arch-conservative Bush in 2004, at the time in the position of defending a rapidly unpopular war are going to switch to voting for the most radical left wing presidential candidate ever?
Plus, McCain is not Bush. As much as Obama has tried, he has not been able to make the case that McCain = Bush.
I think McCain did a lot better in the last debate than the media gave him credit for. “If Senator Obama wanted to run against Bush he should have run four years ago” is a memorable line, and one that rings quite true.
Since the debate, Obama has yet to come up with a real response to the ‘Joe the Plumber’ attacks. It’s now clear to the American people that Obama’s “change” consists of the old, tired liberal programs of old: tax hikes and more deficit spending, primarily to those who haven’t earned it. Further, it’s clear that we know very little about Senator Obama. The only thing left is for the nation to find out that Obama was a cokehead in his youth.
Isn’t it amazing that a guy who started his site while working in a CBS Studios gift shop is now the only national media person willing to spread the truth.
Thank you, Drudge!
Let’s hope enough suburban voters feel the same way about him.
what’s with the club he is brandishing in the posed photograph with classmates?
Drudge has a compass, no doubt. Hopefully, it will point him toward the Khalidi tapes and some errant racist talk by Michelle and Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama.
Guess what Obambi, you bore me.
Suburbs don’t need Community Organizers (Nor does the USA).
To redistribute, duh!
Don't think so.
Mr. Alinsky's goons are waiting.
In the primaries, sure.
Hes going to get trounced by rural and suburban voters.
If Obama had to actually craft an appeal to win suburbanites over or to pretend to be an ordinary working stiff, he might be in trouble, but the economic shocks have done a lot of Obama's work for him.
A lot of suburbanites are breaking to Obama because of the economy. He may still lose it all, but so far, he's doing better than Kerry.
Kerry trying like anything to be everyman was ridiculous. Obama comes across to a lot of voters as a fog -- largely because the media doesn't ask him tough questions -- and that's enough for them to vote for him.
Plus, McCain is not Bush.
True. But people are more fed up with Bush now than they were in 2004, and that hurts McCain.
That's why he didn't want to take sides when the Russians attacked Georgia last summer--just killing some Caucasians.
Obama's boredom has a distinguished pedigree. Karl Marx found the peasants boring ("the idiocy of rural life").
Lets be fair. His primary campaign was that but his main campaign has all been about “middle class tax cut” and “McCain=Bush.”
His margin in polls right now is built on exurbs and suburban voters who are normally republican but upset with the Republican party.
Hopefully we can push this message in the last few days to destroy obama’s lead in these areas.
Odinga is the one, single story that does not take any explanation - it can be told in 8 minutes of video and leaves you absolutely stunned.
At least one of the following:
(1) Stupidity - The NYT doesn't realize this could harm Obama, because it also has no respect for the suburbs.
(2) Hillary - The NYT is trying to help Hillary by sabotaging Obama.
(3) Mole - Someone in the NYT is trying to undermine the paper's goal of getting Obama elected.
Seems like a few rich guys at the top of the Times don’t want their wealth being spread around...
guess that prolly makes it mutual then...
“Drudge is doing the job the MSM wont do.”
He’d better. He’d be silenced under an Obama administration.
0bomber doesn’t do the burbs? He sure likes the money. Then again, you could say that of course he does....since that’s where 401(k) Street lives.
Hope this works its way into a Palin stump speech by Tues.!
I thought in Obamaspeak ‘suburbs’ meant ‘wallets’.
Admittedly, I don’t have any information; just wishful thinking. I have seen the Odinga video. I don’t know if the African connection would crack any eggs when the general electorate seems to be willing to put all their eggs in the basket on the left.
Even the Khalidi thing is weak unless it has Obama endorsing him and his positions in clear and unambiguous language. That’s why a tape of Barry or Michelle making racist statements such as those of Wright or Farrakhan would have the most impact.
At this point, you need something really direct and ham-handed to get people’s attention.
I never found the article; but, that’s neither here nor there.
If this is true, then the word needs to be gotten out in the ‘burbs of Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Denver, St.Louis, Kansas City, Manchester, and D.C.
Coleman Young, the first Black mayor of Detroit, told the people of Detroit, in the ‘70s, to arm themselves to stave off an attack from the suburbanites. That is no joke, my friend, that is a fact. Check it out.

Obama’s words are a little down from the top on the second page.
When suburbanites hear about this (and they will), since 28 mil have went to Drudge today... and they will spread the word (by word of mouth) to multiplied millions more.
That will cook Obama’s political goose in the suburbs.
