ACORN went from fraudulent registering of voters to now attempting to VOTE for all of them.

Maybe 120% voter turn out?

We will win Ohio. Only 50% or so of these particular ballots are ever returned, notarized and legal.

Maybe get a tufer?? Vote by mail and then a second time in person??

I was told that once the Board of Elections mails your ballot out, you are crossed off in the precinct sign-in book.

Who knows. All I know is that it’s very close to what my chairman said last week as to what he anticipated would vote and what we thought our turnouts would be. A little high, but again, all who request don’t vote.

Someone is counting on the "Oregon Effect" ~ they went entirely to an absentee "vote by mail" system. It made a lot of sense until they tried it then they found out you really can count ballots until long past the inauguration date.

Or, here's a thought ~ maybe there are over a million residents of Ohio who fear violence at the polls by Obama supporters and are using this as a way to protect themselves.

You sometimes don't need a conspiracy to end up with conspiratorial effects.

I wonder how this year compares to the last 2 elections. 10% increase might be normal, But a 20-30 might be suspect.

You never know,We could see record turnouts in a lot of places.
This election may bring out a large number of citizens that don't normally vote.

Can’t absentee ballots be challenged?

Requests don’t equal returned ballads. Don’t absentee ballads usually favor Republicans?

My husband and I both did and physically dropped them off so as not to tempt the partisan postal workers.

No, we’re not paranoid - people are getting away with breaking the law and vote stealing.

Much easier for the Acorn voter who registered as “Mickey Mouse” and “Rin Tin Tin” to mail in the ballot...

All I can say is I better not show up and be told that I requested one because I didn’t and will tell them so!

More voters registered in Cuyahoga County than there are eligible voters. Announced on the radio two weeks ago.

The Rep party had FL volunteers pushing absentees for the longest time. I did not agree with it, but did it anyway (as well as pushing early voting for younger people). I would love to see party id for the requests. It may well favor us.

This Ohioan voted absentee over the past weekend (voted for McCain/Palin). The primary reason I voted absentee for the first time ever is that the new style ballots Ohio recently switched to that require you to fill in the oval next to your selection, take forever to complete.

After a long day at work and with kids and family responsibilities waiting at home, I don't have time or patience to hang out in long lines at my local precinct for however long it takes. Really pi**es me off that just because some little old ladies in West Palm Beach couldn't figure out a punch card ballot in the 2000 election, that a very efficient way of voting got thrown over the side.

McCain will win Ohio amongst living, legal voters. It’s the others I worry about.

A lot of fraud more like it.

Absolutely. I said it before and I'll say it again - if Obama wins Ohio, it will be through voter fraud. They bussed in people to vote early. No proof of residence was needed other than an old utility bill. Technically, I could have voted twice in Ohio despite having left that state.

My suspicion is that they're using recently-inactive or deceased names from the voter rolls and placing an absentee vote using those names. I called 3 weeks ago to my county election commissioner in Ohio to make sure that my name was NOT on the voting rolls any longer (I've moved out of state).

We are witnessing the changeover of the United States from a world-leader to a third-world nation. And the media is sitting happy with their thumb in their backside, anxious to see the first black socialist get elected.

In my humble opinion, in order to vote, you should be required to physically show up and have photo ID with address. Call me old fashioned, but voting by mail stinks out loud.
