Taking Professor Obama's Class (Try Your Hand At Professor Obama's Constitutional Law Exam)
Time ^ | 9/10/08 | Steven Gray

As the presidential race heats up and Democratic nominee Barack Obama is forced to respond to increasingly tough attacks from the Palin-energized GOP ticket, his campaign style is coming under growing scrutiny. Some feel the candidate has too often been more head than heart, more intellectual than passionate, less a leader than a lecturer. Will his style survive the rough-and-tumble of a modern media-saturated presidential campaign?

Yet balancing the two personae — professor and politician — has been key to Obama's success. Much of his style can be traced back to his dozen years as an academic, at the University of Chicago Law School. A look at those teaching days reveals just how he has managed to be at once popular and intellectually exacting.

By most accounts, Obama's time at the law school was a huge success. He arrived in 1992, fresh out of Harvard Law School, to juggle teaching courses in constitutional law and race theory. Within a few years, he had become a rock-star professor with hordes of devoted students, written a popular book and launched a political career as an Illinois state senator.

See how you do on "Professor Obama's" law school exam. Of course, you have to imagine it being graded by a Marxist. Be sure to include "feelings" in your answers. Here is your exam:

I honestly don’t think Barama was a REAL FULL Professor...I think on the WBEZ interview, he was referred to as a “Senior Lecturer”...

When I was in skool, the senior lecturer’s were NOT tenured professors...only lackies! to Fill in for the Profs.

If this is the same exam that was posted a while ago, I’ll say that it’s a pretty good law school exam, as far as they go . . . .

That is basically how I passed my US History course. The professor was a big pro labor guy, and I made sure to take that stance on the exams along with how whites and the rich are evil.

Many in the media are referring to Obama HUSSEIN as Law School Professor! He was NEVER a Professor, the ZERO was a Lecturer, a lowly LECTURER!! That is the BOTTOM of the Heap in Academia! Its NOT even Tenure Track! Again, Obama lying about his NON Accomplishments just like he lied about being the Author of his book,”DREAMS FROM MY FATHER!” William Ayers, the Terrorist, ghostwrote that Book!

My law education extends to a business law course as part of a business administration degree. My education in other analytical tools is extensive. I am a superior Constitutional scholar to Obama. It’s what he knows that isn’t true!

You will have six hours to complete the exam. The exam is designed however to be completed in three hours. Feel free to use the extra 3 hours as you wish.

I will be in out on the quad smoking some joints. You can join me if you wish.

There is an interesting reference to starting a school in one of the test questions, "the Ujamaa school".

Ujamaa From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Ujamaa was the concept that formed the basis of Julius Nyerere's social and economic development policies in Tanzania just after it gained independence from Britain in 1961. In 1967, President Nyerere published his development blueprint titled the Arusha Declaration, in which Nyerere pointed out the need for an African model of development and which formed the basis of African socialism. Ujamaa comes from the Swahili word for "extended family" or "familyhood" and is distinguished by several key characteristics, namely that a person becomes a person through the people or community. For Nyerere, an African "extended family" means that every individual is in the service of the community.[1] Thus, Ujamaa is characterized by a community where co-operation and collective advancement are the rationale of every individual's existence. According to Ujamaa, personal acquisitiveness is prohibited, thus allowing the distribution of wealth through society horizontally rather than vertically. So he had the socialism on his mind even as far back as 1997.

I read the exam. I have been a college professor. I have also practiced Constitutional Law in the US Supreme Court, and written a few books and articles on the subject.

I find Obama's exam to be self-referential, pompous tripe. imagine students like him because he gives high grades for minimal thought and work -- as long as you agree with Obama.

"It was us organically coming up with kernels of wisdom."

Yeah, that sounds about right. No facts, no reasoning. Typical silly lefty prof. I hope his kids "organically" did something or another, but he probably passed them whether they did or not.

Lecturers are generally the guys that don’t quite make it all the way into the big leagues, but still hang around the college bubble because they can’t find anything better or just lack the initiative to get out there and do something else.

Yep, when I was in law school I would write exams like a raving leftist when I had professors like Professor Obama (little substance, lots of egalitarian talking points and fluff).

Half of the exam is racial matters. Even the question on gender discrimination is then brought back to an issue of race!

Obama is absolutely obsessed by racial grievances.

Every issue in the world is seen by this man through the lens of racial grievance.

If this man becomes president, far from being a uniter, he will be the most racially divisive figure in American history.

I notice that the Time/Life people still can't get the frames in the correct order.

Have they learned nothing since publishing stills from the Zapruder film?

I think the Obama campaign should be asked for model answers for these exams...
