I refer to my questions early in the thread.

According to this, Obama is greatly outperforming Kerry in Pennsylvania.

Obama widens the gap from Bush/Kerry in:
Bucks county by 3%
York County by 18%
Montgomery County by 1%

and Mccain only narrows the gap in:
Allegheny by 5%
Erie by 2%

So Obama will now win PA over McCain GREATER than Gore beat Bush and Kerry beat Bush?!?!?!

Horsecrap. WHERE ARE THE NUMBERS FROM?!?!?!?!?

Actually, that’s narrows the gap in York by 10%. That 5% gain by McCain in Allegheny is big. If that had happened in 2004, Bush would have won Pennsylvania.

Obama isn’t outperforming Kerry except in one county.

There seems to be a clerical error here:
Obama widens the gap from Bush/Kerry in:
York County by 18%
I see:
York: M: 57 O: 39 2004 Results: B: 63 K: 35
You subtracted K from M to get 18. If one subtracts K from O, it is 4.

Why would you assume McCain would outperform GWB in PA/04? Reality is GWB had full support of the GOP base than (like hardly no other Republican)...McCain has no where near such support from our base.....

We are in the middle of a new war and GWB was without question a hard line CinC (to the public) - We have since in the majority of the public mind won in Iraq and Stan is off the radar.....(thus giving Obama an out for his inexperience and naivety as possible CinC)...

I don't see McCain outperforming GWB all that much....I could see Obama under-performing as a way for a McCain victory in PA....

What hurts York County is the increasing number of Baltimore transplants moving into southern York Co.
