Like any reporter or editor is sitting around worrying about how to deal with the problem of an Obama Rapture.....

When I see the word ‘rapture’ used in a political sense I get the vision of my money floating out of my wallet and drifting towards DC.

I am sure that Peggy Noonan, that gifted wordsmith, will find her muse and speak to us hicks out here in the cornfield.

More rubbish. About 85+% of news media people are Democrats. The anxiety they should feel is whether anyone will continue to read or watch their junk. I won’t.

I read it three times and I have decided that he is probably masturbating while typing.

Regardless of the outcome, John McCain will remain a retired military officer and a gentleman, while Senator Obama will continue to be a question mark on the pages of history.

It's a perfect prescription for performance anxiety.

A lot of reporters suffer the same symptoms, perhaps Viagra would help but I doubt it.

Wow. The writer almost makes it sound as if writing about Obama is sexual in nature. Which makes me think...

“Obama thrust onto the scene with a solid lead, his supporters firm and resolute. He entered the room with a single movement, causing the audience to gasp. “He’s has such enormous popularity,” one Obama fan gushed. “I couldn’t believe that the room could take it.” Obama’s candence created squealing delight. “Hope... hope... hope...,” he repeated as he probed the depths of voter discontent, letting those listening wait for the climactic change they knew would arrive. He was almost finished when, suddenly, Nancy Pelosi screamed, “I’ve got a quorum! I’ve got a quorum!” She dreamed of the day her chamber would be filled with bills and riders that no one would ever, ever again be able to veto.”

OK, I’ve been naughty. I know it.

They're having premature Orbasms over at Slate, where 55 of 57 staffers are Obama supporters. If Obama makes it we have four years of this insufferable smirking to look forward to.
