Two people were arrested Monday afternoon after an altercation led to five Republican campaign workers being sprayed with Mace at their headquarters in Galax.

Galax, Va. is famous for its annual Fiddlers Fair. Other than that, it used to be a nice little place to live.

After being told the Obama-Biden campaign office was up the street, Stevens said, the man said he was aware of that, but that he thought Democratic signs were being stolen and “stashed” at the Republican office
Stevens told him that nobody there had stolen signs, not were they “stashing” any in the building.

No punches were thrown, but instead the two simply held each other at bay, according to Stevens. Once outside, Stevens said, the woman sprayed Mace on him and another volunteer before turning back to the office and spraying inside the building.

Both were released on a secured bond pending their arraignment in Galax General District Court.

I was out running last evening and came upon a man furiously hammering a homemade sign into his front lawn.
It said ,with the word Obama in big, hot pink letters-
“ Will the Thief who stole my Obama sign-please return it.”
I paused and asked him-
Did someone take your sign without your permission ?
He said yes and began to spew at the evil Republicans.
I yelled at him-It’s called “ Spreading the Signs “-
Get used to others taking what’s yours if Obama gets in !!

This being reported thoroughly in VA? I would think a vicious attack on unarmed people would turn off a lot of potential 0bama voters. Show the undecided what kind of little fascists we are dealing with on the other side.
