This will be a secret police force of leftist and thugs to enforce a totalitarian government. Obama also wishes to drastically reduce the size of the military.

Hi Race,

Actually, I believe this was set up already under Bill Clinton. In November 1994, two new grant programs were set up for civilian community policing, COPS AHEAD and COPS FAST. This is how groups like the SPCA or private for hire rent a cops/security are able to have arrest powers. They are trained in law offices or by universiy law professors in seminar classes and they actually issue citations under he Civilian Complaint format.

I think Obama probably means he will help build this granting program up.

It's right out of the playbook of his cousin, Raila Odinga.

Odinga's Muslim extremist thugs went across Kenya, hacking Christians to death with machetes and burning them alive inside their churches, when he lost the presidential election.

When these things come to pass, will the media, if they are still free, go to Gen Powell and other 0bama lovers and ask what they think? If Powell has any honor he would lead the fight against these acts. We shall see.

Speaking of military and veterans, check out this pro 0bama “news” piece from the Hartford Courant today:

Note that the talk to about 3 people and this constitutes a trend supposedly. I also read that the guy in the picture, Kevin Creed, ran for the state senate in 2000, from guess which party?

Remember Joe Biden said that if elected, Obama would be tested? Remember he then said that he would need them to support them even when it looked like things didn’t turn out right?

This is scary. Maybe they want to build a national Stazi to maintain Obama’s support when his policies collapse things. Or perhaps he will begin to tear the Constitution asunder and will need his secret shock troops to vandalize people’s property and such to keep people in line.

Do you think that the left would’t use forces like the gay mafia? Do you think Ayers and Co. are joking?

Totalitarians (fascists and Marxists) require an extensive network of civilian informers and supporters to ensure they hold power

It also invest the young idealists into “the system” and provides opportunities to indoctrinate them

Models= Russia, Cuba, Red China, North Korea and most of the so-called “revolutionary” movements in Africa and elsewhere

Be nice to your kids- they may be reporting on what you say and do at home

Obama and his marxist mentors have staked their careers on a strategy of building organzations of angry street rats to beseige all organs of society and paralyze it (banks, schools, government, legal system)

Simple really, because the new national internal security force will be controlled by whoever controls the New Democratic government.

Even more chilling, with the new USISF in place we will no longer need police departments on the local, county, and state levels, and we can expect our sheriffs deputies, troopers and cops to either be absorbed into the new USISF laid off or retired....

After they surrender their weapons of course we don’t want police equipment in the hands of ordinary citizens.

Obama is already is building  a cadre to lead his own quot;people’s organization" -- and he's got a ton of money -- more than $75 million.

Obama has, through his nonprofit group, "Public Allies," a pun on Alinsky's "people’s organizations," has been organizing and training a political cadre since 1993.  There are fifteen fully-staffed and populated chapters, operating under the watchful eye of Michelle Obama.

The Obama Campaign is also conducting, at the state level, a "national program for social change," called "Camp Obama," and there's no marshmallows at Camp Obama.  Here's their sign-up page -- you too can be a "Deputy Field Organizer."

Obama Campaign's website promises that "you'll get the kind of experience that Barack got as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago," and "Camp Obama is your chance to step up and become a leader in this movement."

Movement?  What movement?

Public Allies and Camp Obama are Alinsky training programs designed to build a core group of "community organizers" dedicated to "social change" in their communities.

Their charter will be to bring about "Change."  They'll do this through threats, pressure, tension and confrontation -- getting people "pissed off" -- the tactics of Alinsky.

Obama is cloning thousands of baby Obamas -- a "people’s organization" -- and on our dime.

A "movement" -- dedicated to social change by getting people "pissed off" -- and there will be thousands of them.

If Obama should sit in the Oval Office, just what do you think he has planned for these guys?

And -- if Obama shouldn't sit in the Oval Office, just what do you think he has planned for these guys?

Remember this?

On July 2nd, 2008, Obama spoke in Colorado Springs and hit themes of national service, foreign policy, and national security.  In that vein, Obama proposed a rather extraordinary idea -- that the US should spend as much money on a civilian national security force as it does on the military. (video)

"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

And what color shirts will they wear?

Lenin said this about socialism: "The goal of socialism is communism."

None of this is good.

References to my post 12:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1280305/posts?page=16#16

Excerpt:

The SPCAs are accountable to no governmental authority. Because there are no standards, rules or guidelines governing their composition, operation, training or activities, there is no consistancy or uniformity in their make-up, functioning or enforcement of the laws. These autonomous organizations present a true hodgepodge of extreme diversity and a danger to the state’s structured system of law enforcement. Once individuals in a county receive a charter from the state SPCA, they control the selection, discipline and removal of their members, officers and agents; the election of terms of office of members of the board of directors; the content of any by-laws; the formulation of any rules or regulations; what training, if any will be provided; how they will enforce the animal cruelty laws, and how they will spend the income. As a result, the SPCAs run the gamut in effectiveness of operation, scrupulousness in financial matters and enforcement of the cruelty laws. While some are operated in a highly professional manner, according to set rules and regulations, others are run as the personal domain of a well entrenched few who discard the rules on whim. Many individuals involved in these societies are dedicated to the welfare of animals and committed to functioning within an organized, structed environment, while others are ‘wannabe cops’ or motivated by personal gain. Because the SPCAs operate outside the realm of government, they have become havens for those who cannot obtain legitimate law enforcement positions.

Excerpt:

ARREST POWERS: The legislative provision governing arrests for violations of the animal cruelty laws is contained in N.J.S.A. 4:22-44. It empowers only the state society and not the county societies. Arrests may be made with a warrant or without a warrant when the violation occurs in the individual’s presence. Since the provision was first enacted in 1880, the power to arrest has been conferred not only upon the NJ SPCA’s officers and agents, but also upon its members. However, nowhere in the statutes governing the societies is the term ‘member’ defined. Therefore, it includes dues-paying members and those members of the Board of Directors who are not agents or officers. These individuals receive no law enforcement training.

Here is one of the training classes were law professors and such train these ‘citizen agents of the law’.

We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

He did not say, we cannot rely on Volunteers to achieve Charitable Work objectives, or anything along those lines -

He said we cannot rely on military to achieve National Security Objectives - we ned a civilian national security force.

What do you call a civilian "police" force that is in place when we already HAVE Police forces, national and local?

In Cuba, it is called a "Committee for the Defense of the Revolution". Each block has a member of the CDR living on it whose job it is to be the Government's stoolpigeon for that block.

If you say anything against the Government to anybody that gets back to the CDR stoolpigeon, you get a 3:00 AM knock on your door by the national secret Police.

The slogan of the CDR is, "¡En cada barrio, Revolución!" ("In every neighborhood, Revolution!") It claims a membership of 7.6 million. ... The CDR officials have the duty to monitor the activities of each person in their respective blocks. There is an individual file kept on each block resident, some of which reveal the internal dynamics of households.

The CDR VOP (Vigilancia y Orden Público—Vigilance and Public Order) Front works directly with the uniformed police. At the end of the 1980s, CDRs were reorganized, with each sector now consisting of several city blocks with one person assigned control. Each morning, the sector controller meets with the CDR officials (the president, vice-president, or other official), particularly those in charge of VOP, at each block and obtain the daily log of activities in that particular block. ..... The CDR officials have the duty to know the activities of each person in their respective blocks. There is an individual file kept on each block resident, some of which reveal the internal dynamics of households. For this reason Maida Donate-Armada (1996) says that “perhaps the greatest contribution (of the CDRs) to the history of world espionage may be to have raised to the level of counterintelligence the daily gossip (chismes) and disagreements (bretes) that go on at the neighborhood level. Citizens must be careful of their actions and of what they say, as they are being constantly monitored by the block CDR.

If we're going to have a police state, I'd rather have the military rather than that bunch of 0bama hoodlums that came in chanting in the video. At least the military has the UCMJ (not that 0bama would abide by any rules - including the Constitution).

This Secret Police would serve two purposes - Beside providing 0bama "muscle" to enforce his edicts, providing "make work" jobs for his kindred.
