You have a good point - but if a whole lot of people show up with signs, etc. - the media will have to pay attention. Even if the tape is never released, more people will find out that something negative about Obama is being covered up and they will wonder what could be so bad.
I don’t think the goal has to be the release of the tape - only that more people know that one exists.

So again, nobody knows what's really on this tape? It all allegations, no proof! I'd drop it unless someone can provide some solid evidence of what he said.
Again, ask yourselves, is the LAT the only source that has a tape of this event? Is there any other person that was at the event which can come forward to substantiate Obama said these things?

LA Times refused to endorse any candidate for 36 years;last one was Nixon, now Obama. What-they only like candidates with incriminating tapes?
As far as I'm concerned, the ball's in their court now. Let them come out and prove Obama didn't say these things. This is how to force their hand.

I have seen too many of these five or six conservatives on the sidewalk with homemade signs, and for the most part in an objective sense it looks ragtag and embarrassing to the major group of people in the middle we are really trying to reach, as well as the media which is guaranteed to take long shots (from across the street) to make it look piddling. They know how to do that with the cameras. Image people! Think IMAGE!
Sometimes the signs look unprofessional. God Bless them, but they often look a bit like losers. This needs to be professionally managed and done in a BIG WAY or not at all. Nobody is saying people dont have a right to protest, I am just saying, you need a minimum number or else it has an opposite effect. I would revise it down and say if 100-200 could show, that would be good. But not this 5 to 20 people on a corner. It looks ridiculous (to most outsiders), and the LA Times would consider it a joke.
She also said it must be nice for dems to have a pet newspaper of their very own-haha!
