Uhhh, we made that mistake for 8 years.
Just because the MSM doesn’t cover some protests (they actually do where I’m from), doesn’t mean we don’t leave an impact on citizens, the opposition and the targets of our protests.

I don't think it is hurting him much unless it is released, and this is my reasoning. If the video can be anything a person wants it to be, it works both ways. The Jews who are going to vote for him now will make it to be a fake unless they are confronted with the real thing and see him with, and supporting, the Palestinians and listen to him condeming Israel. By all descriptions of the transcripts that is what the tape shows. Jews vote democrat and make excuses every election cycle, it will take hard evidence to convince them.
Unless you’re going to do something spectacular, expecting the media to cover your event conservative event in a liberal city, much less cover it positively, is an exercize in frustration.
I’m not suggesting not do it, just don’t expect much in terms of media. If you do you’ll be disappointed, find other goals to make the event a success.
If only 10-20 show it, on the reverse, it looks ridiculous and ragtag.I appreciate your concerns.
In my experience with L.A. FRereps, it is difficult to get more than a handful of conservatives to ANY event -- without at least a few days notice.
The GOOD news is, we don't need a LOT of people to have a MASSIVE effect.You should see some of Doctor Raoul's "one man FReeps."
One man with conviction is a majority. :o)Bottom line: Our goal is to create a video image so powerful that the media are COMPELLED to show it -- even if it is against their political interests -- if only to show their "balance."
So go buy eight hundred balloons and write ‘release’ and ‘tape’ on each one, either side, get them inflated, and release them one by one in the parking lot, all around.
I mean it’s a 15 story building, if you gird it you will have the inside employees staring out at the balloons, and traffic stopping to gander.
This is the ironic fact. If you get 1000 people, the press will ignore it. If you get 10, they will cover it and make you look like extremists idiots with a small following that no sane person should join.
The employees of The Times will laugh and make jokes at you from their windows and will get slaps on the back from their liberal buddies and be thought of as heroes.
The problem with this type of action is it is too generalized. Don’t go after The Times, go after the person who made the call to keep it under wraps. Separate the perp from the herd and put on a full court press. Make it seem like not a decision from The Times but a partisan decision from a partisan media hack.
Then do something spectacular.
Think Dan Rather, not CBS. Personalize it.
Taking down Dan Rather hurt CBS as well. Focus, personalize, go for the jugular and don’t let go.
No offense Ron but what will be the “massive” effect and what the “powerful video image”?
