So true. I saw this in 2004 when I helped Bush and GOTV as a just avg volunteer making calls which I will do this weekend. People came to FL from around the nation on their dime. Clean cut conservative kids plus adults. Smart focused and dedicated. they got down to work, went door to door, made calls, etc.
Kerry had paid Move ON.org thugs and all they did was driver around in vans stealing Bush signs. At the end of the campaign about a few days before election day they were gone. Bush volunteers would sign the roads in Boca and Palm beach county all night and the Move On thugs would steal them during the day.
I was in a local Atlanta Bread for lunch over the past month or so. There is a small Obama office which always looks empty a mile away. You cannot even find it. I would see a few Obama paid volunteers. One was a whacked out homeless woman wandering around. The other was some geek goofing off surfing on his laptop on the free wireless Internet. Obama was probably paying him and he blew the afternoon off.
My guess is these kids just wanted to party. David Gall was probably some Saudi or Palestinian drug dealer named Akmed.
