The fractions are 50.2 to 43.3 in case anyone cares.

“2008 Zogby Polls:
NH Primary - Obama by 13 (actual result: Hillary by 3)

CA Primary - Obama by 13 (actual result: Hillary by 10)”

It really is scary how off these polls are and how serious pundits and the media take these polls. I really hope they are wrong again.

It doesn’t really matter; Zogby is using a zesty picante special sauce this time which is causing wild fluctuations. In the span of about a week and a half, it went from Obama +3 to Obama +12 to Obama +4 back to Obama +7. In short, he doesn’t have a clue what’s going to happen.

Hey, I’ll see your Zogby poll and raise you 1 Rasmussen;

New Hampshire:
Ras: Obama +7.0
Final: Clinton +2.6

California:
Ras: Obama +1.0
Final: Clinton +9.6

Texas:
Ras: Obama +1.0
Final: Clinton +3.5

Either these pollsters are totally incompetent or we are seeing some serious “Bradley Effect”

I guess I was wrong. Zogby really wants his career as a professional pollster to go in the crapper or Obama will present him with his reward after he is elected. Such wild swings in polling numbers when most polls are consistent (even the Hotline tracking poll which I think overstates Obama’s support has stayed between 5-8 points in the last 12 daily. polls) are not congruent with reality and quite frankly ridiculous. Secondly when 4 other reputable polls show McCain closing in on Obama and gaining strength all the way, for Zogby to show a 2.3% drop in support in one day after the stock market had one of its best days on Monday after they heard that Gallup Traditional only showed Obama 2 points ahead, the revelation of a 2001 tape that Obama does favor the redistribution of wealth, and more news about one more of Obama’s questionable associations (with pro-Palestinian Khalidi)yesterday would make one think that Obama has not had a good 3 day news cycle. However, perhaps Zogby is trying to imply that the infomercial Obama viewed last night had a dramatic effect on Obama’s political fortunes. First remember that last night’s polling only accounted for 1/3 of the sample and secondly to advance 2.3% based mostly on that one sample simply defies logic because of the limited number of people who remain undecided and projections that the greater majority of them are white and older and most likely are going to McCain. Zogby, i just don’t buy it. You deserve everything coming to you.

In any other election I'd be fearful of the polling, however this has been the most openly, outrageously, disgustingly biased media slant I've ever witnessed anywhere outside of the depictions of the old soviet union elections.

To me, these polls are truly meaningless. The old media and their polling dogs are dead to me.

I'm going to vote for McCain and bath in the tears of agony of the enemy come Wednesday.

National polls don’t mean much to me - the early exit polling results are what I care about and that John is doing well in Nevada and Florida makes me happy,

Not to be a buzz kill, but just keep in mind that the early exit polls in 2004 had Kerry winning the race. I think we need to view ALL polls with doubt and concentrate on getting out the vote and convincing those undecideds to stay on our side. If we do that then McCain/Palin will prevail.

I Think that what we are seeing is an extended campaign infomercial brought to you by the Marxist stream media.
We are the MSM and we approve this message

In the past few days the Media has made sure that they have stressed in their Oh-so-serious-revelation-glazed-looks “What's really interesting if you look at these polls indepth are the numbers for these groups: Followed by
75% of Jewish voter
67& of Hispanics
62% of white middle class men
95& of Democrats
Then when you link the figures to the same talking points before his Greek pillar speech in Denver with the same MSM worriedly wondering if they were about to nominate a loser you find that those are the group's in which he was trailing the most and they feared he would have a hard time bridging the gaps.
So we need to take 20% off of each of these demographics and you have the real Zogby polls. McCain clearly leads by 7
In fact if you take the internals and leaving the Democrat/Republican figures alone and flip flog the internals you might be close.

But remember the intensity of the motivation for pollsters to cheat in favor of the democrat candidate is much greater this year.

Wow, please don’t put down my faith.
It kinda feels like you are mocking me or worse mocking God!

I’m not angry just shocked and saddened.

I will pray for you. You are naked and blind and do not know it. Jesus is waiting for you, open the door he will come in.

I’m not putting down anyone’s faith at all... I’m just implying that if we’re down to faith, we’re done. Faith doesn’t win elections my FRiend. Action- getting ourselves and friends to the polls- that can do it

The Zogby Special Sauce is in full effect. He will have his numbers tighten up the night before the election. He did this in 2004. He is an Obama supporter. Don’t listen to him right now.

Don't forget the deceptiveness of respondents.

The poll also found Obama was doing a better job of reaching across ideological lines, earning the support of nearly 20 percent of self-described conservatives.

True, but if it shows a lead like this on Monday, Obama will probably win.

He had it tied in 2004.

His final number will probably be fairly close, which means McCain could very well win, and I think he will. If he still has numbers like this though, it is going to be a blow-out for Obama.
