For the last week, this site has been receiving mail -- lots of mail -- asking that we somehow shame the Los Angeles Times into releasing a videotape they admit to having that shows then Illinois state Sen. Barak Obama praising Rashid Khalidi, the one-time PLO spokesman/adviser during a 2003 farewell party in Chicago. Shortly thereafter, he became the head of the Middle East Studies Department at Columbia University.
At what turned out to be a "Jew-bash", Obama, who the polls say will likely be the next leader of the Free World, chose to remain silent. Even after the presentations, the politician who now says he's in favor of a secure Israel refused to denounce what he had just heard. Including, according to the Times:
A " young Palestinian American recit[ing] a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, "then you will never see a day of peace."
And another speaker likened "Zionist settlers on the West Bank" to Osama bin Laden, saying both had been "blinded by ideology."
The anti-Israel Arab American Action Network sponsored the gala. Obama reportedly helped funnel tens of thousands of dollars to them.

Where are the Jewish lobbying groups? They have enough clout with the LA Times to get the tape.
Oh well its their home land.
Kinda like The 1930's in Germany.
I just went to the Times website, saw that one of their primary advertisers was a company with whom we have been doing business for a long time.
I sent the following to their customer service:
Dear ***:
My household spends hundreds of dollars per year with your company. We see that you are advertising with the Los Angeles Times, a newspaper that is refusing to allow the public to judge a video tape of an event about which they have written. They wrote an article that accused Barack Obama of saying terrible things about Israel, but they will not support that accusation by producing the video tape.
We want you, as a major contributor to their profits, to demand they release this video so that Americans can judge for themselves what happened and what was said.
I do not want to stop doing business with your company, but until that tape is released to the general public, we will not buy another product for sale by ***.

HOW can they call themselves a “NEWS” outlet when they purposely SURPRESS the news?!?
Rush just said that it was the L.A. Times who was responsible for demanding and getting Jack Ryan’s divorce papers publicly released. (Jack Ryan, Obama’s Repub opponent in Chicago).
JEWS=Al Qaeda and OBAMA claps......
STUPID RACIST DEMOCRATS
LA is holding out until it’s readership reaches 8 ...
I guess it needs the same name as it’s East Coast Counterpart.
For me they are now and always ... the LA SLIMES!
Where is Neville Chamberlan when the Jews need him ?
Here is the latest hit on Google-—
Palin draws big crowd in Mo.
Chicago Sun-Times, United States - 22 minutes ago
... but did not make reference to Obama’s past associations with ‘60s-era radical Bill Ayers or Palestinian-American professor Rashid Khalidi, who has been ...
This is great news to see that when Palin or McCain do not mention Khalidi, the press reports it!!!!!!
Why doesn’t Rush and maybe some of his big $$$ friends put out something like $1 million or more for the tape.
Didn’t he add $2 million of his own money to that auction he did?
Even if nothing comes out of this, this could make news saying Rush and friends are putting up something like $2-$3 million for the tape.
-
Ayers' book "Prairie Fire" was dedicatedto the assassin Sirhan Sirhan - killer of Robert Kennedy.
The press is in the tank for the DNC. If they mention it, it helps dems.
It actually make work in our favor that the tape doesn’t come out. It diverts attention away from Joe the Plumber and Tito the Builder....far more damaging to BHO...people doen’t really seem to care who he was around....Hillary kissed Arafat and nobody cared...not even the Jews...got some play in the media but had no effect.
People seem to be totally focused on the economy and they are starting to see that McCain is better. Go Joe....Go Tito!!!!
