A man in Chapel Hill, North Carolina was sick of someone constantly stealing his McCain-Palin yard signs. So the electrical engineer wired up a shocking surprise for the next person who came along, according to the Raleigh-Durham News & Observer.

He should be filing charges, just not against the sign owner.
I doubt the boy thought up the idea of stealing and replacing the sign on his own and came up with the Obama sign on his own.
The father should be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and the boy and father should be told to keep off of his property or they will be arrested for criminal trespass.
I believe I would have told the guy that I just tried to wire up my sign so that it would light up, and must have done it incorrectly. Then asked him what his kid was doing in my yard messing with my sign.

Gotta admit, at first I just laughed because it was a funny picture. Now I finally got the irony of it. I think I just wet myself.
No. But I once attached a full Ramsey cattle prod kit (minus the batteries) to my locker in Middle School. Made sure the wires were somewhat visible. Scared the daylights out of the kids who were opening the locker and stealing stuff (after breaking / stealing the lock).
With battery, it would have been under a zero tolerance policy. And without a battery, it was just a prank.

I agree 100%, Let these foolish people have thier 5 min. of fame on FNC with Sean, Neil, or one of the others down there (except Alan Colmes of course). GRILL these people, show thier faces.
the little knucklehead had an Obama sign in his hand. He planned on swapping the signs out. I wonder where babycakes got the Obama sign. His paren’t should be ashamed.
