It’s great to know that if Camp Obama “wins” this thing, they will be facing an ARMED America.

Buying guns is good, but they are nothing but bricks and bats unless you get the ammo too. That said, I went out and bought 4,000 rounds of .223 at lunch today. It’s as good as gold.

Yep. Joined the NRA this a.m., and will attend the next gun show in Hampton Roads in VA to make my purchases before darkness falls on 20 Jan 09.

ANd how lucky are you to have a little local gun store!

Especially one so well-stocked with militia weapons...

Yep, I got two guns this month. I may want to convert the rifle to an SBR though.

Until a month or so ago, $650 and up ($950 for a good one) but today, who knows?

My area news reporter recently did a story on this same subject.

They said gun sales were up 40% in the past month and CCW permit applicants had a two week waiting period for the gun safety course that is required to be included with your application.

They run pretty hot if you empty a magazine quickly. ;-D

Actually. it depends on which make you purchase and what sort of accessories. $600 - $800 for a cheepie, $1200 - $1500 for a good make.

I want to join the NRA but am scared that if Obama gets in they could use the subscription files to hunt down gun owners. And yeah, I'm buying ammo too! Photobucket

Jim and I bought a new shotgun this week, the gun counter at the sporting goods store(Sports Academy)was packed, we had to wait forever. They are doing a very brisk business, Jim said he’d never had to wait so long to buy a gun before, and there were 5 people working the gun counter!

The store up the road from me sold 29 AR-15s since Monday. He said the prices are going up, up, up.

Any time is a good time to add another gun to your collection.

Please don’t forget to buy enough ammo.
