Granted though, most of this (stuff) only happened late in the campaign, but most of the damning stuff about Obama’s dreams, hopes, desires and friends have been known for years...

Why he got this far is amazing...But then again most of his votes (and support) are coming from a dmeographic that has a history of being intellectually lazy and only look at the surface issues about a candidate or elected official, and not very deep into the nuts and bolts of someone...

I’m agreeing with Novak, that Obama will win next week, and that we will only stave off a total coup by keeping a senate that can fillibuster the most draconian/socialist movement by congress and Obama at least for the next two years...

At which time the RNC had better get their heads out of their posteriors and have a slate of candidates that can take back some ground from Pelosi and Reid...

They (RNC) need to start now...And get ready for 2010...

I would prefer that 2006 not have a “Part 3” to this process...

But, like I always say...I “Hope” to be proven wrong...

Most of us have done what we can, and there may be a little more we can do to stave off the inevitable, possibly...

I’m just getting into a mode of “hunkerin’ down” till 2010, where I “Hope” we have already started to get together a cadre of candidates to close the gap and possibly take back over some aspect of our “checks and balances”...

The missus and I are fine...We are going to be working our poll in our precinct tomorrow...

I marked up our poll books yesterday, and am amazed at how many folks early voted in our precinct...Regardless of the outcome, I am pleased by how many folks participated so far...

Our system works...Some try to cheat, but in the long run it works...

But you already know that...;-)

The reality is that no matter who wins tomorrow, it will not be a mandate...

I'd settle for a "No Socialists Allowed in the White House" squeaker myself. I too hope we can be better prepared for 2010 and 2012.
